1. Code of Behaviour The school is a place of learning; therefore, there must be an atmosphere based on mutual respect. All students should demonstrate a desire to get the best education possible. We expect students to adhere to the following behavior code: • Respect your classmates, teachers, all students and people in the school; • Profanity is not allowed in school; • Do not tease anyone, if you are feeling teased in school, please, inform immediately the teacher or principal about this problem; • It is forbidden to fight and trigger fighting; • Do not make fun of students who are weaker than you, they need help; • Respect school property; • Be courteous.

2. Attendance

It is known that one hundred percent achievement of our children is directly related to attendance. We strongly recommend not to miss classes because it will be difficult for the child/children to catch up the missed material. Come late for lessons it is not welcome. The child should be in class 10 minutes before the lesson starts. Excellent attendance, punctuality, effort, and respect are required for success. Homework Homework assignments should always be performed. If homework tasks are not done, parents should always give the reason and explanation why the child is not ready for the lesson. What we encourage our children to eat at breaks? Since all the schools of Ireland and Europe supported the idea of a healthy diet, our school is sharing the same position and recommend to children from the beverages the water and from food only fruit, vegetables and sandwiches. Candies, chocolate, chips, cookies and all kinds of soft drinks are not recommended to bring to school. Respect the place and environment where you learn WE - are guests in any school in Ireland, because we are renting rooms for our classes and events. Therefore, we should show a good example of respect for the school property and furniture. We must leave the room we are having our lessons in as clean as it was provided to us. • Do not write on desks, walls, tables, chairs, It is strictly prohibited to damage books, notebooks, various learning materials. Also, it is forbidden to touch without permission any video, music and computer equipment. • Do not break trees, shrubs, do not tear the flowers from flower beds of the gardens and parks of schools. We should take care of the nature. Parents’ Committee A parents’ committee operates in the school, dealing with financial and organizational issues, contributing to the preparation of various events.

4. Our courses: 1. The basic training course we offer is for children between the ages of 3-16. Course contents: • Russian language and speech development • The Russian literature 2. An intensive course in Russian taught as foreign language, aimed at children between the ages of (6 to 12). Course contents: • Speech Training, practical grammar, writing and reading. • Introduction to the Russian literature. 3. Studios and sections (are opened for all): • Art- studio; • Gymnastics and kung -fu; • Toddler educational play group (from 2 years). 4. Intensive preparation course for Leaving Cert students. • Individual and group classes catered for. 5. Russian classes for adults. • Course contents: • Russian conversation and the teaching of Russian Grammar.

5. Calendar for 2011-2012

NOTE! • The Chancellor’s Discipline Code will be distributed and discussed in class. Copies will be sent home. It is of highest importance for parents to read, review, and discuss them with their child/children. • Teachers will discuss and review the behaviour rules at the beginning of the school year, and will continue to implement them throughout the year.
