Apple pie Traditional dessert
The apple pie is a traditional dessert , though it is difficult to determine where apple cake originates from, as apple is a very common fruit, and everywhere where apple tree grows, apple pie is made. Our recipe comes from continental part of Croatia.

40 dg flour 8 dg sugar 25 dg butter 2-3 tablespoons of cream or milk 1 tablespoon of rum a little bit of lemon crepe

1 kg apple 10 dg walnut sugar by taste (depends on how much apples are sour or how sweet d o you like it) cinnamon by taste 1 vanilla sugar bag
Preparation: In a large bowl, mix well flour, sugar and scalloped lemon. In this mixture add butter (butter pack slice on chips and small cubes), mix well with flour and sugar (the mass is grumpy and not compact). Add rum and milk to this mixture to make the dough compact. Make sure that the dough is not either too soft or too hard. Divide the dough into two parts and leave it the fridge for half an hour. Flourish and grease the baking sheet. One half of the dough roll over baking sheet, carefully transfer to the baking sheet, sprinkle with 5 dkg of walnuts and bake in heated oven at 150 ° C for 20-30 minutes. Remove from oven, drizzled apples lightly drain from excess liquid, put over roasted crust, sprinkle with rest of walnuts, cinnamon, vanilla sugar and plain sugar according to taste. Apple s cover with the crust from the other part of the dough. The top of the crust stab with a fork (evenly) so the crust wouldn’t crack. Place the prepared pie in the oven at 175 ° C and bake for 40 minutes. Cut into cubes (if baked in the baking sheet) or slices (if baked in the round module) and sprinkle with powdered sugar for taste.
