DUF, the brainchild of Suzanne Hertogs (designer, art director), is an independently published mook created to entice Dutch teenagers to read more. DUF has a high 'ZAP-factor', with a wide variety of information presented in a playful and exciting manner for youngsters. DUF is an adventure; just like reading SHOULD be. Topics covered range from a 7-page article on a Jeroen Bosch painting to a 'fuck without worries' item. The various writing styles used include the short story, prose, poetry and reportages.
