Events We bring many guests to Duke, often with the help of fantastic campus partners. Some of our annual events include: Expert in Residence Program - knowledgeable professionals share their expertise and advice with you Career Fairs – Employers who are looking to hire for internships and full-time opportunities attend to meet face to face with students. The Fannie Mitchell event in late January or early February – More than 70 Duke alums return to campus to discuss their careers and decisions made along the way. We sponsor this event in partnership with the Duke Alumni Association. Duke Arts Festival – Meet and learn from alums in arts, media, and entertainment and have an opportunity to showcase your own talents. We plan this event in partnership with the Duke Alumni Association and Office of the Vice Provost for the Arts. Diversity Networking Dinner - Employers committed to hiring a diverse staff attend this annual event to meet Duke students in a conversational setting.
