Events We bring many guests to Duke, often with the help of fantastic campus partners. Some of our annual events include: Expert in Residence Program - knowledgeable professionals share their expertise and advice with you Career Fairs – Employers who are looking to hire for internships and full-time opportunities attend to meet face to face with students. The Fannie Mitchell event in late January or early February – More than 70 Duke alums return to campus to discuss their careers and decisions made along the way. We sponsor this event in partnership with the Duke Alumni Association. Duke Arts Festival – Meet and learn from alums in arts, media, and entertainment and have an opportunity to showcase your own talents. We plan this event in partnership with the Duke Alumni Association and Office of the Vice Provost for the Arts. Diversity Networking Dinner - Employers committed to hiring a diverse staff attend this annual event to meet Duke students in a conversational setting. Etiquette Dinners – Dine in style while being instructed on proper business etiquette.

You could also set up a Google News alert (or comparable) for yourself if you want to stay informed as changes occur. Keep up with ways you can make your first impression online a positive one. The video series at loic.tv, for example, provides an overview of strategies you can use to expand your online presence and make a strong professional impact by sharing your interests.
