All Year 7 students took part in the Code Playground online activity organised by Digital Eagles, a Barclays’ initiative to promote coding and to boost digital knowhow.

The coding activity consisted of developing a website using HTML language, the standard mark-up language for documents designed to be displayed in a web browser. The event was very successful as all the participating students were fully engaged, enjoyed the activity and completed the coding activity.

During Summer term, Year 7 students are learning how to make web pages and websites. They are also competing for the three best developed websites. The coding activities are crucial to boost Year 7 students’ coding skills and to make coding such a fun and enjoyable activity.
