Summer Reading Program kickoff with the Duluth Huskies!

Saturday, June 3 10:00-11:30 am

Kick off the library’s summer reading program with the Duluth Huskies! Join us at Wade Stadium to hear stories read by Huskies players on the baseball field! Stay to get autographs, take a picture with Harley Huskie and the Library Lynx, spin our Wheel of Prizes and sign up for summer reading. Every child registered for the summer reading program will receive one free ticket to the Huskie’s Books & Baseball game on Sunday, July 16, 2023. Kids can pick up a copy of Batter Up Kurtis Scaletta, while supplies last.

ANNUAL SUMMER BOOK SALE

Build your own home library and contribute to a good cause at the same time! All proceeds from the sale go to support the Duluth Public Library to help offer free events to the community.

Stop by the branches to see the 2nd Annual All Ages Tiny Art Show! If you contributed a piece, it will be on display at the branch you dropped it off with. The show will run from May 8-31.

TAKE & CREATE ART KITS: PAPER QUILLING with

Get your free art kit while supplies last and learn how to quill paper. The kits, created by Duluth Folk School, have everything you need to create a colorful, unique design. This project is geared to participants aged 8 and up; younger children can do the project with help from an adult. Funded in part or in whole by a grant from Minnesota's Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
