What is the CCA Programme?

HANDBOOK | JUNIOR SCHOOL CCA PROGRAMME - TERM 1

Co-curricular Activities (CCAs) at Dulwich College Shanghai provide students with the opportunity to pursue a variety of interests that extend beyond the academic day. Our objectives are to provide an all round educational experience. CCAs are considered an important part of our programme. Consequently, involvement within the CCA programme is expected for all students.

3

How to register Students will sign up for CCAs in school with their class teacher. Students who play for Dulwich RFC or who have been selected for the Year 3/4 production or FOBISIA team must select this as their CCA.

Dear Parents, Welcome to the Junior School CCA Handbook for Term 2.

We encourage parental feedback on the CCA Programme by offering opportunities or providing constructive feedback on the provision.

As a College we constantly stress the importance of developing the whole child. The CCA Programme has been developed to encourage students to improve their skills or try new activities. The options change termly to reflect student requirements throughout the year, as well as the changing weather and facilities available.

For further information on activities taking place outside the Tuesday and Wednesday Programme, please click on the following links.

We encourage all Junior School students to participate in activities that develop them into a rounded individual.

In the Handbook you will find the opportunities available for your child throughout the week. Most activities take place on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. On these days the College buses leave at 4.40pm rather than the usual 3.40pm. Please bear in mind that some activities finish later than 4.30pm and therefore students must be collected from their activity.
