Expansion by global provider of cleaning, coating and refurbishing of parts used in the semiconductor industry is expected to create 100 jobs By Tamara O’Connell A WEEK after PayPal announced they were seeking up to 205 redundancies (with around half that figure for Dundalk site workers) there was some good news on the jobs front as Japanese-headquartered Pentagon Technologies announced they are opening up a new facility in Dundalk, creating 100 manufacturing jobs over the next five years. Pentagon Technologies Group, Inc, a subsidiary of Kurita Water Industries, announced the establishment of a precision parts cleaning facility
in Dundalk yesterday. The facility represents an expansion of services to the semiconductor industry in Ireland. Headquartered in Japan, Pentagon Technologies Inc develops and provides innovative products and services to improve productivity and utilisation of semi-conductor manufacturing equipment. This new facility, located at the IDA Science and Technology Park, Mullagharlin, Dundalk is is strategic in supporting Pentagon Technology’s Irish and European customers.
