Speakers at the launch event will include Louth County Council Chief executive Joan Martin, Cathaoirleach Councillor Conor Keelan and Director of Muirhevnamor Community Centre, Jim o’Neill.
Chief executive Joan Martin welcomed the launch, saying: “It is envisaged that this extension to the community centre will act as a cross community and crossborder shared space, providing a significant public amenity for the people of Dundalk and facilitating further reconciliation between the communities on this island.” the event was organised by an events management team comprising transition Year students from Dundalk Grammar School.

DuNDALK’S entrepreneurs of the future were on display at Marshes Shopping Centre for the 2023 Annual Student enterprise Fair.
And it also attracted entries of student enterprises from St Louis Secondary School and Bush Post Primary School.
In all, 14 projects entered the competition, creating a great sense of excitement at Marshes.
Marshes manager Sean Farrell said the centre is always delighted to host the annual gathering of young Dundalk entrepreneurs.
“the event is a great opportunity for businesspeople of the future to put their talents on show,” he said.
“this year’s entries were all of a particularly high standard and I pay tribute to all the students and teachers involved.”
