Dundalk Community training Centre attendees receive certificates

the Dundalk Community training Centre would like to congratulate some of its learners who have recently achieved certificates in hairdressing, Gel and Acrylic Nails, Manual handling, Barista, Bricklaying, Safe Pass and Forklift Driving - Well done to all involved!

the Dundalk Community training Centre has been in operation for more than 40 years, it’s designed specifically for 16-21 year olds and offers various different courses across QQI Levels 2, 3 and 4 and VtCt Levels 1 and 2. the courses on offer provide a stepping stone for young people, helping students to gain confidence, learn new skills, and achieve qualifications that will help them progress into an apprenticeship, employment or progress into further education.

the CtC has its own state-of-the-art hairdressing Salon - and the VtCt Level 2 Diploma in hairdressing gives learners who would like to work in the hairdressing industry a taste of the practical skills required to work in this area. the CtC offers a variety of courses which include Woodwork, Digital Media, Information technology, Art and Design, Communications, Career development,

Work experience, Customer Service, health and Safety, Personal Development, Mathematics, Plating and twisting hair, Washing and Blow-Drying hair, Colouring hair, and Health related fitness.

We are also delighted to be introducing the Albert Schweitzer Leadership for Life programme and the world recognised Forogie designed entrepreneurship programme that will give students the chance of developing themselves and create ideas that could change their future.
