A heartbroken Dundalk couple have launched a campaign in the hope of finding their beloved springer spaniels, Duke and Daisy, who were stolen from the Faughart area on February 2. Damien and Siobhan Walsh have offered a reward for anybody who has any information regarding the two dogs’ whereabouts and have urged members of the public to help them return the brown and white springer spaniels back home where they belong. Damien explained that the dogs went missing in the Faughart area after he had taken them to work with him. “I work in Faughart and I had Duke and Daisy with me as I take them with me every

Saturday. They were playing away as usual in their pen when I went into the shed to get something. I got back a couple of minutes later and there was no sign of either of

Gerry helps dreams come true By Niamh Kirk Every child living in Louth who is in the Make a Wish Foundation could see their dream come true if local fundraiser, Gerry Lennon, has his way. The big hearted man is holding a raffle for a Volkswagen Golf and is hoping to raise €30k which would be enough to grant the wish of every child in County Louth who is registered with the Make A Wish Foundation. Just before Christmas Gerry was watching the show Christmas Wishes on TV3, which followed the experiences of five children who have a life threatening illness and were given the opportunity to make a dream come true.
