CONTROL PANEL (POS. 5) Low Diesel indicator Indicates the diesel tank is empty. Steam ready indicator When this lights up, it means that the generator is ready for use and that you can start work. Low Water indicator Indicates that the water tank is empty, and is accompanied by an intermittent buzzer, when on it is not possible to use the overheated water and no steam will be produced. Low Detergent indicator When on, this indicates that the detergent tank is empty. It is accompanied by a continuous buzzer. Warning!: The continuous signal has priority over the alternate water signal, to be sure check which of the warning lights are on. System ON The electronic unit, the steam solenoid valves, the boiler refilling pump are powered. Mains water Water being delivered from the mains water supply, the LED ON continuously indicates that the water inlet is open. Boiler ON Switches on the burner, the detergent pump and the “overheated water” solenoid valve. If there is no water in the boiler the LED flashes and the burner will not come on until the liquid in the boiler reaches the set level, in which case the LED stops flashing and stays on. Burner block If the block light comes on there may be a fault in the burner, e.g.: no diesel, water, etc. The system attempts to switch the burner on three times, if the appliance does not start the burner (also in this case) is switched off automatically. Sometimes this may happen if there is low fuel in the tank and if there is air in the diesel pump, due for example to the appliance being moved. To switch off the light and reset the system, press and hold down the button on the side (approximately 10 seconds). Then press the “boiler on” button again to start the burner. Starter indicator Shows that the burner starting system is working correctly, the light goes off automatically a few seconds after the heating system has come on.

Steam supply coupling 1 Shows the supply level of steam connector 1: minimum, medium or maximum.

Steam supply coupling 2 Shows the supply level of steam connector 2, this coupling has only one flow rate, so the indication refers exclusively to one level.

USER INSTRUCTIONS

(a) Remove the caps from the tanks (7 and 8) and add water and detergent to the respective tanks, take great care in this phase as incorrect filling (detergent in the water tank and water in the detergent tank) will cause a generator failure. (Refer to the symbols near the top-up cap.) (b) When using detergents (non foaming for extraction machines), follow the specific instructions given on the original packaging: usually this is 1 litre of detergent for every 10 litres of water (detergent percentage approximately 10%), taking care to pour the detergent in first in order to obtain a better mixture. Take great care of the detergent used, as some that are available on the market, when heated to over 100°C, thus to a gaseous state, may produce highly toxic vapours. Check the technical data sheet of the product or consult your supplier. The detergent tank must be topped up only with detergent diluted with water but not only with water, unless this is demineralised. Using only (non-demineralised) water instead of detergent will cause a failure in the mixing circuit. (c) Insert the plug (1) in the power socket, making sure that the voltage and amperage correspond to the values given on the machine data plate. (d) Switch on the appliance by turning the main switch to ON. Press the buttons st-by..

..and “boiler on”

.

(e) The appliance is fitted with a system to protect against thermal shocks. If there is no water in the boiler, the system automatically disables the burner, this situation is indicated by the flashing LED on the “boiler on” button . The system may also cut in after filling the boiler following sludge draining during maintenance.

Notes: The timer has a buffer battery to maintain the clock settings in the memory, if the appliance is not powered for more than 30 days the timer is initialised and must be reset. Boiler cleaning signal C A L C The controller was programmed to warn the user of the need for routine maintenance; the system is programmed to signal every 20 hours of effective work (steam solenoid valve on). Proceed as described in section 9.2. “boiler maintenance” to drain the liquids. C A L C signal reset After maintenance by the user, hold down the button

and switch off the appliance using the button

, the C A L C signal will be reset. Detergent top-up When the detergent in the tank is finished, the appliance signals this state by switching on the light and emitting a continuous buzzer, the detergent pump will automatically be disabled, then top up the detergent in the tank (8). Note: the detergent buzzer (continuous) has priority over the no water (intermittent buzzer). Water treatment and integrated filter regeneration system The appliance is equipped with an integrated water treatment system and an automatic filter regeneration device. The filter can deliver 600 litres of water, after which the system switches off automatically and the display indicates “REGEN”. For more flexibility, the system warns of the need to regenerate the filter after 400 litres of treated water (the display flashes “REGEN” alternately) delivering another 100 litres, then the wording remains fixed on the display and the system supplies the last 100 litres of water before switching off. (Refer to section 9.1 “maintenance” for the filter regeneration method).

8.1. ANTIFREEZE MODE (Optional) The antifreeze mode has the function to keep the interior of the device heated when the unit is operated at low temperatures. To activate this mode manually move the grid that is located on the right side of the machine upwards (on “winter” position) closing in this way the air flow versus the outside, press the “boiler activation switch”

and hold it for 5 seconds, the HOT mode (for summer) or

COLD mode (for winter) will be alternatively activated. With the COLD mode set the fan inside the unit will remain ON. Attention!! When the outside temperature is over 2°C it is recommended to move the grid downwards (on “summer” position) and to switch the operation mode on the electronic panel to HOT.

8.2. USING STEAM SKY WITH GEYSER KIT Warning!! Switch off the steam generator before connecting the hose.

Insert the steam plug (31) in the steam coupling (11 or 12) on the machine and turn the locking lever. Insert the required lance (35) on the Geyser handgrip (30) and screw the nozzle (36) or other optional accessories (37-38-39-40-41-42-43) on the lance, depending on the cleaning to be done. Now your lance is ready for use. Switch on the main switch (4) and buttons (depending on the model) until the light

for steam production and wait 3-8 minutes comes on, indicating that there is steam in the boiler.

Press the lever (32) on the grip to produce the steam. If required press at short intervals the button (33) to produce detergent or the button (34) to produce overheated water. Both the detergent and the overheated water function must be run at intervals (e.g. 20 seconds on 20 seconds off), neither function works continuously. The detergent and overheated water are delivered only if the steam outlet is active and the “steam ready” LED

is on.

Warning!! The button (34) on the handgrip releases overheated water under pressure at a temperature which can reach 180°C, be very careful not to press this accidentally and make sure that the jet never points at persons or animals.
