rotten MANGO Why rotten MANGO? MANGO is a high-end fashion company based in Barcelona and rotten is because the brand has not paid a full and fair compensation for the victims of the Rana Plaza accident happened in 2013. I created rottenMANGO as an attempt to retrieve the long overdue compensation from MANGO. The campaign includes two magazine ads, a website, petition form and an iOS app. Can you explain the Rana Plaza accident? Rana Plaza was a large eight-story building in Bangladesh, that housed five garment factoires for many well-known brands, including MANGO. On April 24th, 2013, it collapsed while 3,000 garment workers were inside and at least 1,138 of those were killed and 2,500 people were injuired. Many of the survivors were no long able to find jobs, or were deeply traumatized. Since then, only a few brands have made contributions to the victims and their families but they need a lot more to rebuild their lives. What can I do to join the campaign? There are two ways you can help, and you can always do both. The rottenMANGO app was designed specifically for instagrammers. You can take pictures, edit them and use our collection of rottenMANGO stamps for your instagram photos. Or you can sign the petition on our website: www.rottenMANGO.com.

What is LiveON? LiveON is a new brand name that we came up with as part of the rebranding process for Donate Life, an organ donation foundation. What is your purpose? Our mission is to revive and promote the concept of organ donation and popularize it among younger audience. The name LiveON by itself suggests a positive attitude and is an attempt to remove the stigma of death and sorrowness. What does LiveON team do? In one of our campaigns, Take Action, we run a photo movement by taking pictures of students who are organ donors and use social media to include their friends in the conversation about organ donorship. Sign-up vans will also be available around campus, along with LiveON merchandise. Our goal is to make every organ donor to be proud of themselves, as they wear our buttons or T-shirts.

Q & A with Piraha Coffee team Why Pirahã? Pirahã is a tribe of Amazon natives, who mainly live on the banks of the Maici River in Brazil’s Amazonas state. The Pirahã people are strongly connected to their jungle and knows it more than any others. They can “walk into the jungle naked, with no tools or weapons, and walk out three days later with baskets of fuit, nuts and small game.” (Daniel Everett) Why Pirahã Coffee? Pirahã Coffee offers many herbs and remedy coffee, tea and bererages, thus using the South American tribe’s name signifies the natural quality of the products. Our branding embraces the tribal feel, using a warm and slightly blissful color palette.
