fore word
Welcome to the April issue of DV8 Oxford. Spring is well and truly in the air, and we are so happy to put the winter behind us! The sun has been out and the clocks have gone forward (although losing an hour of sleep wasn't great, but it's a sacrifice we are willing to make to have longer evenings), it’s exciting to think summer is surely just around the corner! However, before we get there we have a really exciting jam packed April to get through first.
First up, we have the long awaited Easter Bank Holiday weekend and this year it is much later than normal, but we think it is worth the wait as it’s piggy-backed by the Royal Wedding (Thanks Wills and Kate) and the May Bank Holiday… For all of you workers out there, how many of you have booked off the time between these two bank holidays? We have! It is going to be amazing, and we really can't wait to see what activities Oxford is offering over these 10 days. April is also an exciting time here at DV8, as we are holding the finals of our 'face of DV8' competition. The finalists of the public facebook vote will be competing to wow the judges to be the face of the May cover issue. We hope you can join us at Roppongi on the 28th April for the fun filled final. We would like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to all our fantastic entrants, the number and high quality of photos blew us away, we really do have some gorgeous readers! And also a big thank you to the hundreds of people who voted in the competition. We hope you enjoy April, and hope to see you out and about.
meet the team...

APRIL EXPOSURE
We here at DV8 love a club opening, and may we be the first to say how excited we are that the eagerly awaited Lola Lo is opening her doors on the 8th April, we hope you have registered for the guest list on the opening night for a launch party that is surely not to be missed! DV8 had the opportunity to have a sneak peak around Oxfords new tiki club, and can we just say you are all in for a treat! The club offers an escape to a Polynesian paradise with intimate surroundings and sexy bamboo tiki decor. There are plenty of booths that are available for hire for intimate entertaining, or party celebrations.
LJ is Oxfords newest and arguably one of its most stylish cocktail bars, located a short stagger from the City Centre in the trendy Jericho neighbourhood. The bar boasts an impressive list of over 45 exquisite cocktails that included all the classics DV8 knows and loves as well as the LJ staff’s own creations, which experiment with new and exotic ingredients and have been developed over years of bartending experience in Oxford. If you still don’t see what your after the skilled mixologists will create to order. If you would like a little inspiration look at our food and drink section of the

One of our favourite things about the club is in the finer details, such as the tiki inspired porcelain cups and bowls for the fabulous range of drinks, all the cups and bowls have been designed for Lola by Cheeky Tiki and are available to buy from their website. Also there is going to be high quality behind the bar with the promise of the bartenders bringing theatrics to eclectic 30+ classic and bespoke cocktails (look out for DV8 Bartender of the month Philip Kalantri). The bar only hosts the finest spirits, which just makes the drinks taste even better. If your in the mood for sharing we recommend the Easter Island Surprise which is served in the ‘Legends of the Gods Bowl’. Lola Lo will be open during the week and the weekend from 10pm all the way through until 3am (last entry will be 2am), offering something different each night of the week. Check out our listings pages for full details. Full listings information about Lola, her drinks, information about party bookings and guest list can be found on their website www.lolalooxford.com and stay up to date by following Lola on Facebook and twitter.

N
ot long ago, we had a straw poll in the DV8 office to find out what our favourite movies of all time are. There were of course the classics like ‘The Godfather’ and ‘Star Wars’ another favourite was ‘Back to the Future’. Imagine our delight when our friends over at T.O.R. Events were hosting a ‘Back to the Future’ themed night at Clems… This was definitely not one to miss! One of the things DV8 love about Back to the Future is the soundtrack, so we were especially excited about the music. We were ready for some awesome party tunes from Huey Lewis and the News to The Starlighters. The partygoers had gone all out with 1980’s inspired outfits... There were plenty of Cyndi Lauper and Madonnaesque styles.
DJ Ollie East was on the decks providing partygoers with what they wanted, while across the room VIP booths enjoyed the super bottle service provided by Clems. This was definitely a successful night and well worth the walk (or short taxi ride) out of the centre of town. We are sure it is one of many themed nights at Clems to come.

FUTURE FAMBO @ LAVA & IGNITE
F
uture Fambo is arguably one of the biggest comeback artists of 2010, with his fantastic remix from last years hit featuring Beenie Man - Drinking Rum. He has now remixed the song to also feature Buster Rhymes, who has returned to his Jamaican Roots with the epic summer anthem 'Drinking Rum and Red Bull'. We have to admit that we really love this song! It really made us want to head to the bar with a specific drink order in mind, although, we would have preferred some Jamaican surroundings! This turned out to be a fantastic set, to compliment the well established 'Vibe' on a Thursday night at Lava & Ignite. We really enjoyed the DJ Support set from the UK’s Texxus Lionface and UK Dancehall award winning DJ, Rudie Rich. We should also mention there are some great drinks offers to be had, and a really relaxed and chilled atmosphere (maybe we had too much rum!). We are really looking forward to the live performances that are lined up for the Easter weekend‌ Look out for Twice as Nice on Bank Holiday Sunday with IRONIK! See you there!

OXFORD FASHIO Oxford Fashion Week challenged Oxford to explore fashion, to recognise its depth, to think about its purpose, to engage with its creators, to celebrate its inspirations and to delight in playing with its creations. DV8 attended one glitzy press launch, five runway shows, scoffed countless numbers of canapés and tried on hundreds of outfits in our quest to bring you all the best bits from Oxfords biggest fashion event.
The Concept Show
witness the ‘fashion fireworks’! We were treated to a bird’s eye view of the show from one of the VIP booth opposite the runaway - complete with champagne on ice! Some of the more outlandish, but definitely wearable designs (for a night out of drinking and dancing!) were from Kamila Gkasperska-Kaspersaka, which were reminiscent of giant flower bouquets! DV8 even spotted a similar outfit on a certain channel 4 soap set in Chester last week!! The girls from DV8 also loved the regency inspired designs from Hoyan IP – all the fun of frills, flowers and flounce with a modern, wearable edge. Another favorite collection (especially with the DV8 boys) were the literally ‘cheeky’ designs from Akosua Afriye-Kumi, Liat Annina Polishuka and Kamila Gkasperska-Kaspersaka as many of the outfits had certain parts cut away and although some may have seemed a little austere from the front, the cheeks were all on show from the back!!
“A Wealth of clothes, colours and textures..”
Oxford Fashion Week’s Concept Show was the ‘nuclear explosion’ of the entire week – showcasing outfits quite unlike anything Oxford has ever seen! The crowd was literally bombarded with a wealth of clothes, shapes and textures, put together in the most extraordinary ways to provide a truly eye-popping spectacle! And DV8 were there in force to

ON WEEK 2011 The show finished with a bang as it had started and the night didn’t stop there – the after party was right next to the runaway in the Regal’s main bar and the fashionistas, models and DV8 carried on the celebrations right into the night!
The Lingerie Show The Malmaison lingerie show, billed as the most exclusive and prestigious runway show of the week was a certified fashion fest. The converted prison provided a plush, luxurious setting for the fabulous display of lingerie. The evening started in style with a champagne reception and a delectable selection of canapés courtesy of Polka Dot Catering. Fashion enthusiasts were treated to a unique Kodak moment upon arrival in the bar as Emma Appleton, face of OFW 2011 posed in a lace bodice, sipping cosmos alongside three other models including our April cover star Tara Goodbody. The French opera soundtrack created a
scene fitting of the most exclusive hotel on the Champs-Élysées. The runway showcased designers included corset-maker Velda Lauder, popular high street brands Triumph and Bravissimo, a selection of intricately crafted masquerade masks from Samantha Peach and a debut exhibition from DV8’s one-to-watch, Oxfordshire designer Emelia Penny, who showcased pieces from her feminine, vintage inspired range La La Loula. The models looked simply divine with urethral pearlescent pink cheeks, smoldering eyes, glamorous curls and legs that went on forever (and made those of us who are less genetically blessed regret one too many canapés!) DV8’s highlight was high-end lingerie brand Bordelle’s statement black bondage dress, based on a unique construction method of creating bodycon girdles by piecing together satin elastic panels. The dress was decorated with symmetrically placed gold oversize rings for

a touch of S&M de luxe and finished with spiky studded straps. The flame haired model owned this provocative look with an unadulterated confidence.
award winning ethical fashion designer Feng Ho and supported by a host of brilliant up-and-coming green designers such as Lucy Tammam, Holy Dutton and Kailique.
Judging from the crowds unanimous reaction, the show was a big hit.
DV8’s highlights were a stunning, simple black wrap dress the ‘Libra Bamboo Knit Dress’ by ecoSkin, which looked like it could slot easily into our wardrobe and the Avant-garde cage skirt which wouldn’t look out of place on Lady Gaga.
The Ethical Show Ethical fashion has long suffered from the perception that eco-friendliness and style are at opposite ends of the fashion spectrum, conjuring images or hessian shirts and tie-died fabrics. Recent collaboration between ethical fashion pioneers People Tree and actor and Burberry model Emma Watson have no doubt helped raise eco fashions kudos but the DV8 team were still left wondering… Could the O3 Gallery's Ethical Fashion Show at the Living Room persuade the fashionistas amongst us to shop ethically?
“the Avantgarde One things for sure, the array of sexy and stylish on offer changed the way DV8 see cage skirt pieces eco-fashion. wouldn’t The Couture Show The couture show promised a breath taking climax to OFW and DV8 were look out of high-fashion definitely not disappointed. The collections, and people surpassing our wildest place on venue expectations! Guests pulled out all the stops with runway Lady worthy get-ups including floor sweeping gowns, cocktail dresses and sharp tailored Gaga” sassy tuxedos – perfect for some fashion watching.!
The sold-out show would suggest that the answer is yes! The Living Room was packed with fashion enthusiasts of all ages kicking off the weekend by watching an exciting mix of socially responsible, eco-friendly fashion, accessories, jewellery and AMAZING millinery ranging from quirky daywear to sophisticated evening-wear. The show was produced by

extra special by the knowledge that few members of the public will have had the opportunity to visit them before. There was a seemingly never ending, free flowing champers reception keeping guests occupied as the show was running ‘fashionably late’. After a week of late nights and bubbly we were risking serious fashion fatigue, but the electric atmosphere and captivating mix of guests and outfits kept us going. The show was well worth the wait, DV8 felt like we had died and gone to fashion heaven! The runway featured gowns from international fashion legends Valentin Yudashkin, Matthew Williamson,Temperley and Nicole Fahri to name but a few.The make up was the most dramatic of all the shows with an intense black lip. Each dress received cheer after cheer making it almost impossible to choose a favourite. DV8 was wowed by two of Pierre Garroudi’s stunning contemporary dresses, making bold statements in solo colour palettes of bright blue and purple. The designer created a cutting-edge silhouette, using tightly ruffled fabric that formed spectacular, voluminous shapes, unlike anything else on show.
The Style Show The climax to OFW was the Style Show, held in Oxford Town
Page 13
Hall. With back-to-back runway shows featuring hundreds of designs from High Street brands DV8 knows and loves such as New Look, Reiss and L.K. Bennett as well as independent Oxford boutiques such as Aspire Style and a selection of up and coming designers. The Style Show was the most accessible event on the OFW calendar showing wearable looks that could be purchased from the British High Street without breaking the bank. Guests had the chance to browse stalls and indulge in fashion and beauty treatments alongside the runway shows, including exhibits from Muse Makeup and Mahogany hair. DV8 enjoyed the show in style, sipping delicious cocktails from the pop up bar provided by the Living Room. The runway shows featured models from Models of Diversity, an agency that advocates for more diversity in models, representing beautiful people of all races, ages, shapes, sizes and abilities. Also running alongside the Style show was The Macmillan Clothes Extravaganza, which gave guests the opportunity to rummage for fashion gems which included designer, vintage, and top-end high street brands at bargain prices. So that was OFW 2011, an extravaganza of fashion frenzied fun times which injected a serious amount of glamour and style into DV8’s March. For now, we will have to wait impatiently to see what OFW 2012 brings! Article: Alison Hill, Rebecca Hougham Photography:Tomasz Rae, Holly Wyatt

t Patricks day is the biggest party on the Irish calender, and we are always happy to jump on the band wagon to enjoy a few pints of Guiness! This year we headed over to enjoy the festivities at O’Neils on George Street. The party was in full swing with plenty of hats, green wigs and facepaints paying tribute to the Emerald Isle. The party continued as the band Hustler played classic Irish hits and ensured the merriment carried on until the early hours. This was one craic-ing get together and we look forward to raising a glass to the patron saint of Ireland next year.

EXAMPLE @ THE O2 ACADEMY
L
ondon rapper Elliot Gleave aka Example (the stage name's based on his initials, get it?) has packed a fair bit into the last couple of years. His breakthrough album 'Won't Go Quietly', tore up the charts and spawned the singles ‘Watch the Sun Come Up’, ‘Won't Go Quietly’, ‘Last Ones Standing’ and ‘Kickstarts’ - all of which peaked within the top 40 in the United Kingdom.
DV8 were really excited when we heard we would be able to catch Example playing at the Oxford O2 Academy in March, as part of his UK Academy tour. When we arrived the support act Wretch 32, a grime MC and rapper described as the ‘new don of UK hip hop’ was warming up the crowd, with his metaphorical lyrics and infectious beats he had the crowd bouncing, energized for the main event.
When Example took to the stage the crowd went wild and the atmosphere was incredible! He had the whole place literally jumping, and singing along to his dance orientated tunes. Our highlight was when he sang the hit ’Kickstart’, a particular favourite in the DV8 office.
This was a gig not to be missed, and any of you who have the opportunity to catch one of his shows in the future, whether that be in the UK, or the sunnier shores of Ibiza, make sure you do! Look out for Examples forthcoming album ‘Playing in the Shadows’ out this May.

here’s no party like a Mardi Gras party, and we couldn't have been happier when Thirst in Oxford announced they were throwing a Mardi Gras to celebrate the carnival season. While many people were tucking into pancakes, we opted for the New Orleans approach to 'Fat Tuesday' and swapped sugar on our pancakes for salt on our margaritas!!
Carnival spirit was aplenty as many people had donned masks as they knocked back drinks and waited for the entertainments to begin. Thirst provided some fantastic Mardi Gras spirit with fire dancers on the terrace outside, we should mention how much we love the outside terrace at Thirst, with a wide open space, gas heaters, an outside bar and of course plenty of seats. Even on the coldest night, it is the hottest place to be! DJ Max spun the tunes to a busy dance floor, while video images of Mardi Gras from around the world were projected onto the walls which gave an interesting psychedelic feel. We even spotted the Living Rooms own ‘Rich’ in the corner knocking back a few drinks, and enjoying being the other side of the bar for a change!
There were giveaways throughout the night, including dances at the Lodge, the DV8 team are pretty gutted to hear that The Lodge is facing closure, but we know the owners will bring us something bigger and better. It's a shame that we have to wait another year to celebrate Mardi Gras again, but maybe we will pass the time sipping a few more margaritas. DV8 OXFORD /// April 2011

WE LOVE 80’s LAUNCH NIGHT @ KUKUI
L
et’s hear it for the 80’s... Awesome clothes, awesome movies and of course awesome music. A decade that embraced excess and the outrageous! DV8 were delighted to head over to Kukui to check out their new Thursday night 'We love 80's’. The Music was rocking and as the night got going the crowd descended on the dancefloor, cutting shapes to all the classic songs from the era, including Duran Duran, Rick Astley and not to forget the King of Pop.... Michael Jackson!
DV8 shotgunned a Kukui VIP booth which offers you one of the best VIP treatments in town with table service and delicious sharing cocktails. If you are going out with a group of friends to celebrate a special occasion or just because it’s a day ending in 'y', you should definitely look at the fantastic options available.
The drink deals on Thursdays are fantastic, we loved the barrel of rum punch, not to mention some of the cheapest Jagerbombs in Oxford! As the staff at DV8 grew up in the 80’s, the decade will always have a sort spot in our hearts.

e can't believe that it was only a year ago that Wahoo opened its doors, in this short time it has established itself as a major player on the Oxford nightlife scene. Offering great sports, unbelievable drink prices and of course some fantastic events and themed nights!
We were delighted to go along and help Wahoo celebrate their first year in Oxford. Expectations were high, especially as all drinks were ÂŁ2, thankfully the party was on a Friday, as we definitely needed the weekend to recover!
We arrived early as we knew it was going to be a busy night, besides which there was a champagne reception, and DV8 were never going to miss that! The night was awesome and a little crazy, we loved the blue smurf waitresses. The fantastic tunes ensured a packed dance floor, while sexy shot girls kept everyone in the party spirit.
We have really enjoyed our shenanigans in Wahoo over the past year and look forward to many more to come.

SOPHIE B.
Is it just me who’s had the (blooming brilliant) feeling this month that Spring has finally sprung? Light morning, sunny days, clocks going forward… 2011 is finally finding its feet and I for one couldn’t be more chuffed.
That also means things are progressing quickly in Glide FM’s big social experiment 2 Strangers & A Wedding. We’re asking: “Is Love Really Blind?” We want to see if it’s possible to match a bloke and a girl, let them get to know each other and take them on dates, with the end result being that they fall in love and go up the aisle together… WITHOUT ever having seen each other. We had 11 applications to become our bride and after some serious screening and long chats with each of them, we’ve gone for a girl nicknamed ‘Dancing Queen’ because of her love of dance music. She’s young, great fun and up for the biggest experiment of her life. We’ve had loads of offers of help from Oxfordshire companies related to the big day, so we already know if there is a wedding; it’ll happen in the stunning Malmaison Hotel in Oxford. We already have the dress, the rings, the cake and the hen & stag dos covered… all we need now is a groom!
So if you know someone who’s 18 or over, single and living in Oxfordshire (and to be fair, it’s probably safe that he likes dance music too…) then tell him to apply via www.2strangers.co.uk and I could be speaking to him soon on the show. Radio doesn’t get more exciting than this! You can catch Sophie weekday mornings from 7am hosting The Morning Glory on Glide FM 107.9

THE MISSION 8 St Michael’s Street, Oxford, 01865 202016
We are big fans of Mexico, nice weather, Margaritas, Coronas and not to mention Mexican food. We decided to pop along to The Mission Restaurant to sample what they had on offer. The Mission has fast become a big player on the Oxford food scene, by offering a unique style of canteen service, it suits people who are in a rush as well as those wanting to have more leisurely sit down dining experience. The food is inspired by the taquerias of the Mission District, they pride themselves on creating recipes which are true to their origins, with all ingredients bursting with freshness and flavour. We are massive fans of the burrito, but for those of you who may not be familiar it’s a flour tortilla packed with mouth watering goodness! Meat, beans, rice, salsa, sour cream – and you can choose to add cheese and guacamole too if you want to go all the way! With this is mind we opted for a steak burrito with all the extras (of course) including The Mission’s very own hot salsa which is made with
Dorset Naga’s, the world’s hottest chilies. Apparently the chefs have to use masks when handling them!! So this is definitely not for the faint hearted. We also tried the legendary Carnitas Burrito. Carnitas is slow roast pork, cooked to perfection and seasoned with thyme, bay leaves and orange zest.
In addition to this we washed them down with a couple of Coronas. The food was amazing, fortunately we were pretty hungry as the portions were huge! It was really nice to sit and watch the hustle and bustle of people on St Michaels St heading on and off Oxford’s Cornmarket. The Mission is a great restaurant with friendly and relaxed staff, whether you want to go for a quick lunch, or a diner with friends, it will not fail to please you. Sun- Wed 11am-10pm Thurs- Sat 11am-11pm
COCKTAILS OF THE MONTH L.J., 30 Walton Street, Oxford 01865 424631 KIWI GARDEN
Served in a tall glass over crushed ice and decorated with slices of Kiwi. A drink with Kiwi fruit in it has to be good for you (we’re counting it towards our five a day!) One sip of this fruity concoction and we were hooked!
You couldn’t really tell there was an alcohol content but believe us there was, we definitely felt the effect after a couple!!
Kiwi Garden is taken from the extensive menu at LJ, be sure to make a trip and try the whole menu!!!

BAR TENDER OF THE MONTH
LJ features an extensive selection of cocktails, including all the classics, and some fantastic unique concoctions made from the vast experience of the bar staff. Be sure to check out this delicious creation when you visit. It is a perfect drink to enjoy as an after work treat, or just to get you ready for the summer months ahead! The drink is subtly sweet and reminded us a lot of pear drop sweets from our younger years.... Delicious!

CULINARY DELIGHTS
THE JAM FACTORY 27 Park End Street, Oxford 01865 244613
The Jam Factory Restaurant opened its doors in November 2006, it is located on the site of historical landmark, Frank Cooper's Old Marmalade Factory (this must be good marmalade as the Queen admits to enjoying it!!). Now it has transformed into a wonderful café, bar, restaurant and art gallery. From the moment you walk in the atmosphere and service is friendly and welcoming. The guys behind the bar are happy to help you choose a beer or wine to your taste (don’t be scared to ask).
One of the most interesting things about the Jam Factory is how the space is divided between being a restaurant and a gallery. This is the sort of place that wouldn’t be out of place in trendy Brooklyn, littered with cool hipsters. To eat we decided to share a starter from their freshly cooked flat breads with Mozerella and fresh tomato. The breads are cooked to
ensure freshness, it made the simpleness of the starter really delicious. For the main courses we tried the Baked Onion Risotto with roast garlic and forest mushrooms, this again was cooked perfectly and was of such a high quality it would not be out of place in some of the finest restaurants.
We also enjoyed the Twice Cooked Free-Range Pork Belly with broccolo, plum sauce and half naked hand cut chips. The pork was succulent and tasty, to say we were impressed was an understatement. The dinner was really complimented by such wonderful surroundings and decor.
The Jam Factory is a hidden gem of sophistication and style and we are happy to be spreading the word, about what a delightful restaurant this is. If you enjoy good wine, great food, fantastic art and a wonderful atmosphere then the Jam Factory is for you.
BARTENDER OF THE MONTH
Tommy Harris, LJ
TOMMY L.J.
How long have you worked as a bar tender? I have worked in various bars for the last 15 years. In Oxford as well as Australia and London! Can you flair? I used to know a few tricks, although I have judged a few flairing competitions. What is your signature drink? Classic Daiquiri, which is made from rum, lime juice and a little sugar How many cocktails does LJ offer? We have a lot on offer, from the menu we have 40, ranging from classics to ones we have developed ourselves. The bar staff here have a combined knowledge of over 45 years, so we can happily make anything you want. What is your favourite thing about working at LJ? At DV8 we tried different ways to use this product; it has two sections )The creme highlighter and the shimmer dust). We found the creme highlighter works best on cheekbones and brow bones; areas that you really want to pop. The shimmer dust is best used to intensify where the cream is used and is perfect for a fresh faced, dewy look. Available at SpaceNK store for £18.

are on hand to create the most beautiful styles which will help you along your way to making your Ball unforgettable. With prices starting from just £67 you’d be mad not to!
There is no one hairstyle that will work for every woman, but there is a look that is just right for you. Having your hair styled up is a great and easy choice as it will suit most dresses and will look elegant and soft. However, if you can't decide between having your hair up or wearing it down, why not pin half your hair up and leave the other half down? This way you can have the best of both worlds! Either way before you embark on a May Ball “hair mare” make sure you contact Anne Veck salon Oxford to book a consultation and to book in your styling appointment. Remember, beautiful hair is a woman's most noticeable feminine feature which is why it is so important to get it right.
And don’t forget, they do guy’s hair too… To book an appointment with one of Anne Veck’s specialists please call Oxford salon on 01865727077or Bicester on 01869 248495

What makes you a socialite? Big sunglasses right? ha! You know, I just really enjoy meeting different types of people, I love talking to crazy personalities, people with their own style; it interests me! But I'm always myself, bit crazy, chatty, like to make a scene with an out-there trend or a forward greeting attitude! I love on-the-surface chats about shoes and sunnies, but put myself out there and say what I think! If it's a dressy occasion, I'll go all out... If it's not, I still will! Always look to meet everyone, and leave a memorable impression! Describe your self in three words: Passionate. Glam. Outrageous! Whats your favourite night to go out? Saturday, it has the mid-weekend buzz and the knowledge that the day of rest will come after! Where can we find you on a Saturday night? Probably on the floor in stitches! Often take a tour of Oxford bars and pubs: Jolly Farmers, Que Pasa, Thirst, Wahoo... maybe a meal.. Then onto The Plush Lounge on Park End St, the ultimate glam let-you-hair-down night out! Whats the ultimate hangover cure? A McDonalds, hands down! Get an OJ to replace your lost nutrients, a McMuffin to settle the stomach then a McFlurry to sooth the throat from the screaming and laughing.. perfect! What are you looking forward to most over the Easter break? Having a mini city tour! Visiting Cardiff and Manchester, then a 3 day road trip to Paris! Shopping and night outs with friends.. the perfect break! What's the worst chat up line you have heard? Well, the most common has to be "come here often?!", its like... why does it matter? If I say "Yeah, every night" I look a bit eager, if I say "not really" I look too tame! So instead of awkwardly staring at the dance floor, my reply tends to be... "Shot?
