Week 7 Feedback

Week 7 Money Hunting Yes, we need money to fund our great technology-enhanced ideas! Keep your eyes open for various funding agencies, review the samples of winning proposals (they are often made available), and find somebody to work on the proposal together to make it stronger. And definitely find somebody to proofread your writing! Important: follow the guidelines and make sure you do the format your funding agency requires. Otherwise, your proposal will be simply rejected. Pay attention at every details: length of the proposal, specific information they request, level of detail, length of the proposal, etc. Speaking about format: 1. Make sure your links are hyperlinked and open in a new window when you post on BlackBoard. See tutorials in the course Bb under Misc. 2. When you provide references, you need to do them in APA6. As many of your sources are web-based, this Writing Lab website is very helpful, showing various types of e-resources and ways to format it. I also added recently a link to anew APA publication dealing with electronic resources. 3. When you do prezi or present.me, the basic rules for ppt apply. Please do not put more than 20 words per slide (ideally 12-15); present.me, being linear, should have slide numbers for easier navigation. 4. It is great that you use video to support your findings. Several tips and advice can be found under TechModule A. Especially pay attention to suggestions for lighting in the room, your dress, eye contact, body language, background, and other important details. I am very pleased to see the variety of formats: prezi, present.me, simplebooklet, glogster, and others. I actually had fun reviewing your work! At your discussion board post you will find a carton from me and your gradebook has a link to Jing with my feedback and comments. While you are using all these cool tools, take a mental note of what might work well for your capstone project. And practice, practice, practice! Try looking for more agencies and keep your index‌ It might be quite a real case when you will need those resources. Here are more resources to add to your collection and to fund your technology dream .
