Double-stitched Blake construction. The upper and lasting board are stitched to the mid-sole, then the rubber outsole is cemented on and stitched through the rand (through a 360째 storm-welt). This means that the construction is extremely resistant and almost naturally waterproof. The rubber outsole has a high abrasion resistance and has very good grip on icy surfaces. 13
