Tearing’ Truth
Architecture is merely paintings and buildings to me when I`m younger. See there, how naïve I`m! Simple.Happiness is simple.
’
THE TEAR
BE
TRUE
’
I start learning every foundamental of architecture that evolves every cultural background, human and culture, and site analysis. I also appreciate and apply aesthetical value, contextual axes and scale and proportion. (design strategies). Nakedly, this times I welcome mistakes, advice and criticism open-armed to grow maturely, there is no shame to hide, no added value to pretend. I start reshaping my own identity. Simple. Happiness.
BE TRUE & MINIMALISM
’
I realise the identity can be greatly manifested in my personal design intention. Instead of the deceptive exuberance outside, I would rather savour the rich content inside. Simple but concise! Clear and meaningful! Sometimes, I allow graphic value to draw readers` attention, minimally but not thing superfluous so that the essential is shown to the best possible advantage. My portfolio is the story of my breakthrough to wear my true personality, simple journey through, but not easy! I have been nurtured along the way by tears and joys, an amazing growth! Nakedly, I would like to share with you the inner beauty that lies between each lines and colours.
Raised in a family of modesty, I`ve always wanted to become a leader as a naturally-born supporter. I leave from my hometown, Borneo Island in Malaysia, to set foot on Peninsula to pursue architecture. Gifted with only drawing flair, I hardly cope with the study and sometimes, I lose track of the study journey. Throughout the journey, I shoulder the responsibility to try becoming a leader and keep masking my ignorance towards knowledge. ( pretend to be knowledgeable towards some unknown knowledge). Engulfed by this habit, I am exhausted and tired to clothe the high self-expectation along the way. One very night, I break down, tearing my inner self wipe apart. I crush all the illusive masks in order to live my true colours. I admit and accept my weakness. If I am born as a supporter, I want to start supporting others to help them and me myself achieving success in every aspect of lives.
Architecture is true and simple living to me now. Simplicity makes me happy.
Tearing’ Truth

“The horizon” is a proof of victory and the celebration of pride to love. The concept came from the Pagan symbols for genders. The two symbols are placed against one another as the iconic feature of “The horizon”.

Pagan Gender Symbol
“Walking for those who cannot join us.”“Love always wins”.“Love is love”. “I am comfortable with who i am.” These are the quotes from people who joined the Pride March for the LGBTQIAPK community. The legislation of same-sex marriage in the United States on 26th June 2015 started a revolution for the freedom to love all around the globe. That very day marked the day love won. Love has no boundaries. Love even defies the laws of nature. 2000`s decade was the decade of realisation of love, but 2010`s decade became the decade of celebration of love. “The horizon” serves as an icon which represents LGBTQIAPK`s identity, and as a platform for people to further understand the community. The building is a proof of victory and the celebration of pride to love. The concept came from the Pagan symbols for genders. The two symbols are placed against one another as the iconic feature of “The horizon”.

Johor Bahru, the proposed site is still breathing with the diversity of 3 major races, Chinese, Malay and Indian. Together they build up the state while embracing the Bangsa Johor concept. However, diversity causes gap between them, ranging from business hour, communal living (gap in authentic market selling true product of JB`s identity) and expression of art.
