You will travel west about 2.5 miles until you cross a set of RR tracks and the speed limit will drop from 55 mph to 35 mph as you enter the town of Andrew. General Sale Information

Terms & Conditions: Cattle sell per the terms and conditions of their respective breed Associations bylaws. Announcements from the sale block and supplement sheet will take precedence over materials presented in this sale book. Terms of payment are cash, good check (with proper ID), or credit card. All credit card payments will incur a 3% processing fee (Accept Visa and/or MasterCard). No cattle will be loaded until approved by the sale clerks. Health: Each animal selling will be accompanied with a state approved health certificate from it’s state of origin for interstate travel. Registration & Transfer: All animals sold as registered will have papers available for transfer as well as use for showing at the IBE. Please leave the sale clerks how you would like your purchases transfered. Livestock Transportation: No cattle will be loaded until completion of the sale. We will be happy to assist in finding the most reasonable trucking rates available. Insurance: Will be available through Harding & Harding Insurance Company. Contact the clerks at the time of settlement for your insurance needs. Liability: Each animal sold will become the responsibility of the buyer as soon as sold. Neither the owners, sale staff, sale management, Illinois Beef Association, or anyone associated will the sale will be held responsible for any injury, loss, or theft associated with attending this sale. Absentee Bids: If you cannot attend the sale please contact any member of the sale staff in order to bid over the phone or to leave a confidential bid prior to sale time. We would like to welcome each of you to the 2018 Shorthorns & Friends Sale. This sale was brought about to offer up quality cattle from some of the states top breeders, who otherwise would not be able to sale at the expo due to lack of numbers from their respective breed associations. The state of Illinois is blessed to have high quality Shorthorn, Maine, Chi, Charolais, & all other breeds breeders. This state has produced countless National & State level Champions in each of these breeds and yet at times these breeds get overlooked. This sale will give each of you the chance to purchase elite level cattle that would otherwise not be offered at the Expo and would require you more time spent traveling the country to find. Please take some time to study each of the lots listed in this catalog and select the type, kind, and breed that will help to take your program to the next level.
