We welcome you to the High Standards Female Sale at Jones Show Cattle. It’s hard to believe it is our 18th sale and we couldn’t do it without your support year in and year out.
The cattle are THE BEST we have to offer, and we are very proud of this group. The females of fered are out of out best donor cows, that are all past show champions themselves, and most of them originated from this very sale. This year’s heifer calf offering is as diverse as ever!
The bred females we feel are as good or better than they have been in quite some time. There are a lot of them that are full and maternal siblings to past high sellers in this sale. With that being said, there are a few that we feel could be elite donors for your program, but there is not one in this offering that we would not breed and keep ourselves. We have always offered our best so there are none held back.
One thing is for sure, we could not do this sale without our crew. We are fortunate to have some of the best help in the business and it starts at the cow barn with Todd Herman. He is one that has been in the business for years and understands the hours and time it takes to raise livestock. No matter if its breeding donors or calving cows, he is always there when needed. From there, we go to the sale facility and Sam Burtsfield. Sam has stepped up and taken over there and it’s hard-to-find a young man any more that understand what it takes, and he is not scared to put in the hours late into the evening. Then we have Nick Hulsmeyer in the show barn. There is not a guy in the country that cares more about other people’s investments more than him. He is always one step ahead on the cattle, trying to keep them on track from show to show, and we all know the hours it takes to operate a show barn. I also need to thank my wife, Sara. She has dang sure changed the paperwork side of things in the office, and as most of you know, I’m a procrastinator. Well, that’s not allowed with her in the office and that has made our relationships with our partners better.
We also could not do this without our part time and seasonal help. Cody Wright has gone back to college but is still working in the mornings and that has been big. Samantha Wallace is back for her second year, and we couldn’t do it without her. Sawyer Hake joined us and has been a big hand pre paring for this sale.
We thank you for your interest and encourage you to call any of us with questions.
Thank you,
Randy & Troy Jones and All of the Jones Show Cattle CrewTJSC End Game

has what it takes to compete on the highest level and also be an elite donor for years to come. When the Maine- Anjou Association put the Maine- Angus breed into the registry, these were the kind of females I had envisioned. This End Game daughter is the epitome of what we try to raise year in and year out. 17K has been a standout since day one. She is just one of those females that puts everything together. I’m not going to try to explain what I think about this one, I will let you form your own opinion.

She lost her mother at a young age and just lived with the herd. But man did she thrive. When you set back and study this female, she is just hard to poke a hole in. offering ½ of this female. Reason being, is it is hard to go out and find a female like this one and be able to afford her. We feel like this one is an elite Angus female with the potential to raise females like her mother has for us and Stertzbach Cattle Company. This one was one of the top contenders for Lot 1 in this sale and you will understand why when you see them in the same pen when you visit or on sale day. 10K is high tying and long necked that rolls back into an impressive rib cage with plenty of muscle and stoutness of bone. When she is in motion, it is like she is floating across the ground, and you don’t see her take a bad step.
Phyllis 20K
If you come to Harrod to buy the Angus with all the extreme pieces, then here’s your bovine. This one is a freak show. Her neck is so long and skinny with a huge rib cage, massive bones, and feet. You will see in her video that this one’s head carriage is high and cocky as she moves about the lot effortlessly. No matter if you want to make Angus females or % cattle of another breed, this one has what it takes and will still complete on the highest of levels. Offered by JSC

one is one that I feel is everyone’s speed. She is huge bodied, sound structured, and massive from end to end with the show ring presence and look. This is one with feed inputs at an all time high, that would not require much of it. TJSC So Sweet 47K
One thing TJSC So Sweet 104X does is puts power in her progeny, consistently year after year. This King of Diamonds daughter is the definition of true cow power, the kind this industry needs and are getting back to so we can actually raise bulls. No matter what breed you are in right now, there is a need for good bulls because the cattle that win most of the time are noth ing but a silhouette. 47K is, to me, the true example of power and elegance. She is the one you gravitate to when you see her prowling around the pasture. She has a huge sweeping rib cage; feet and legs are incredible with a high neck set. This is one I love to just set back, and watch move. Power in motion!!! Offered by JSC & Chris Anspaugh
Here is the combination heifer of the four King of Diamonds x 104X progeny that we are offering. This one’s hair cycle is in a little different spot compared to her older sister, but when you study this one, it’s hard to fault her. This April female is the one that checks all the boxes. She has the good feminine muscle shape, she is striking from the side, and when she gets on the move, it is effortless. Couple that with her body shape and dimension, this one will be hard to turn. Offered by JSC
TJSC So Sweet 33K
Of the four sisters, we feel this one is the flatter, longer hipped one that has the rib shape and front end that are winning at high levels. 33K is the one everybody has to appreciate and is hard to pick a hole in. She is probably the greener of the mating to KOD. The last 30 days has been fun to watch this one blossom, and by sale day, could be the pick of the litter. Offered by JSC & Chris Anspaugh
Normally, it would be hard to set here and write footnotes on four full sisters, but when they stay this consistently good, it makes is fun. This is one that had her tail stepped on as a baby so it’s a little short. But what she lacks there, she makes up in a lot of other places. 320K is a thin necked, high tying, round bodied individual that has the power and look to compete at any level and go on and be an elite level donor cow. Offered by JSC & Chris Anspaugh

This April daughter of Fort Knox is one that is fun to look at. She is the moderate framed one of the group that you have to decide if she’s big enough to be a big time show heifer and if your answer is yes, then jump in with both feet. No matter what her mature size ends up, we know she is big enough to make a killer donor that will make some unbelievable pure bred Simmental progeny. 317K is huge middle, sound made, with a killer look. Offered by JSC & Chris Anspaugh
The youngest of the Fort Knox daughters but has the pieces to be the best. This one balances so good from front to back and is so good at the ground. hard to sit here and write footnotes on cattle that look so alike on this flush. But one thing I will say is this is the one that is most like Lot 18 out of all of them. Sam and I have had some arguments on which one is the better one of the two females and I’m not sure we have ever determined the winner of the argument yet. So, we will let you settle it on November 5th. This one is also unmatched in power and volume when it comes to this flush and still holds her soundness to a high level. This one’s foot and bone work are second to none and hold it all together in a sexy package.
Another stout made long bodied individual that has a ton of future in the donor pen and show ring. She probably doesn’t have the hair coat of the older sister but has a little more extension and bone. This one’s future could be bright. Offered by JSC & Schaub Livestock

To me, the Lover Boy’s are not just a calving ease sire. You can use him on big stout Simmental cattle to tone them down in muscle and build the ones that are winning today as long as they are good enough fronted. That is why he worked this well on 73A. This March female is one that has gotten better everyday she has been at the sale facility, and we feel is one that will do so for the foreseeable future. High neck set, good rib cage, plenty of power are things that come to mid when I look at this one. Offered by JSC & Schaub Livestock
We love mating our Simmental donors to Maines to make dual registered females and one’s like this are the reason why. This End Game daughter is built for the long haul, and we feel could show both ways and be very competitive, just depends on the evaluator at the event. This one is sound structurally, stout from every angle and in every feature. The possibilities are abundant here. 1/2 Simmental & Mainetainer AMAA #: 533045. Offered by JSC & Schaub Livestock
here is the Baldy sister to the one above and the Baldy face is not her only unique attribute. She is probably the most powerful sister of the two and maintains her ribbed and look as you would expect from this mating. 1/2 Simmental & Mainetainer AMAA #: 533043.
Another She’s So Sweet descendant here. This one goes back to the 158D cow who is a Broker x 73A, so there is the reason for her high quality. We love our Hammer Time cattle and ones like this are the reason why. She is long spined and good looking with the overall mass and substance we like in our females.

The 124Y cow has done a lot for us and our partner Whitney Cattle Company and this mating is no exception. It might be the best one to date. The youngest of all the Diamond daughters comes to us a little greener than the rest but her quality is unri valed. This may be one of the most tricked out purebreds in the offering. If you’re familiar with the TJSC Simmental program, then you know the long-standing tradition of the Cin derella 595z cow. She topped the 2012 Sale at 90,000 and has produced multiple high sellers and champions, most recently a pair of flush mates campaigned by the VanVorhis and McDaniel/Watson Crews here in Ohio and Hammer Time female is being successfully campaigned be the Sherman family in Indiana from last year’s sale. We start off the Cinderella daughters with one we feel is so complete in her build and skeleton, long and smooth in her muscle pattern, and sleek in her design and angles. Lots of upside to this female for the long run. Offered by JSC
The oldest of the flush mates comes to us in an extremely stout and rugged package. Her body shape and skeletal width have donor cow written all over her. Huge footed and smooth jointed with an immense amount of cushion at the ground. I’m a big fan of this one’s generating potential having the capabilities of making half-bloods that still have muscle and bone density. Offered by JSC

Mr
Lot
Big donor cow potential in this lot, she may be the biggest footed most exaggerated in her angles of any in the sale. If the Simmentals used the new fancy foot EPD’s that the Angus implemented, she would most definitely be at the top. Her pedigree reads with some of our very best donors and cow families on both sides and she doesn’t disappoint in person. Long and extended up front without lacking any stoutness from behind bid with confidence here.
One of the very last heifers to get to the sale facility is this stunner. Bought as an embryo by Mark Spangler and brought back here for us to sell. This May baby may lack a little hair, but her pedigree and phenotype really say it all. A full sib to the very popular lot 3 and 3B from the 2020 Sale and built very similarly. Lot 53 is about as tricked out as you can make one, long chiseled neck that ties high out of her shoulder, the right rib shape that gets better every feeding she’s had since she has arrived. Her running gear is impeccable from the way her foot is designed to the angle of her pastern and the way her hock is assembled. I know she lacks a little hair and bloom compared to some of pen mates, but I would watch out when this one is a bred next fall.

As Newt says he sells Real World cattle and King of Diamonds added in all the bells and whistles. Stout hipped big legged with huge feet. A neck a mile long with tons of rib shape. A true testament to the quality within the sale is how well the females produce for their new own ers. 112F was selected out of a stout set of breds in the 2019 sale by Kaiser Simmentals. We feel in the next 30 days this will be a moot point but felt like it had to be stated here. As this one feeds the rib shape is there and she is catching up in a hurry. The bone and mass are there in this animal all she needs is a little time to catch up in her maturity pattern and let the paternal side of her pedigree kick in. Offered by JSC & Schaub Livestock
Well, here is the one a guy should probably hold on to for a couple of months, because I feel this one has the potential to be a juggernaut down the road for all of them. Yes, she is young and skinny but man I have high hopes and expectations for this one in the coming months. It’s just not very often you can build a Maine-Angus female like this one. She is so good at the ground with her huge paws, big legs and her muscle shape and smooth shoulders this one just needs someone with patience and a little feed. Offered by JSC & Schaub Livestock

Another daughter of Lucky Lady 164E by BOE Garth that is as stout and as powerful as you could ask for in a Maine- Anjou female. With her added power, her structure holds strong and has a good look and stays really well balanced. This one at picture time was just coming to her hair coat and we feel by sale time, she will really turn some heads.
by JSC
Another reason we purchased part of her mother back. This End Game is one that will blow you away with her ability to reach and flex, and posses the power, balance, and overall eye appeal that it takes to compete at high levels. This Maintainer female is what it takes to raise high quality High Maines in the future and to win in present day.

The younger of the trio but could possibly be the best. That will be a call you will have to make on Novem ber 5th. As you can see in her picture, it is effortless for this one to look good. That picture was one that literally took one click of the button and we sent her back to her pen. For as big boned as what this female is, she reaches and flexes like a cheetah stalking her pray. I think you’ll see by the video of this one it is truly effortless. Couple that with her rib design, flat shoulder, and square hip, this one will be a lot of fun over the next year. Offered by JSC & Boocher Family
This is the bigger, older sister of the trio that has the most muscle shape of all of them. This is the one that is intriguing to see what she does in the coming days from a rib and volume standpoint if she continues along the path she is right now, she will push her younger sisters for who is the best. True cow power here in this one. This one is out of one of the high selling bred female we selected from the GCC Classic, an Irish Whiskey daughter that has proven herself for us and Griswold. This End Game daughter has donor cow written all over her but would still be a fun show heifer. This one has been easy fleshing her whole life and honestly needs to go on a diet directly after the sale. You honestly can’t build one better than this from the ground up and shoulder’s back. I do truly believe a diet will benefit this one’s front end but got left on the recip and full creep feeder to long.

Boy howdy we couldn’t turn down the chance when Zak called to see if we wanted to be apart of the pregnancy’s of Endgame and his immortal Jaylynn Rose 8249U donor. She has stood the test of time producing champions of both genders and donors for many of the top producers in the country. 2k is a moderate and dense made female that is stout in her skeleton with extra punch to her muscle shape. While I do think she will be appreciated in the showring I think her build and body shape will best be utilized in the donor pen since muscle and stoutness are extremely misplaced in the show ring for a reason I cannot understand. While we aren’t necessarily known for our High Chianina females not having dabbled much with in the breed it’s nice that we can represent the breed with quality like these two sisters. A different twist than her sister 79 is long and extended up front, long spined and feminine made. This one’s feet and legs are huge with plenty flex. Combine all this with great depth to her center rib and hair coat that most steer jocks would be proud of makes for a deadly combination. Maintainer & Chi ACA #: 414029. We feel this female is one that you can go so many different directions, Angus, Maine- Angus, Sim- Angus, it’s just not going to matter. When we bought half of her mother in the Garwood dispersal, SCC SCH Phyllis 792 (AKA Chucky), we were excited to see what she could do for us, and we feel this one could do the same for you. 500J is extra stout for an Angus with huge feet, stout bones, extra hairs, and a killer look, in a sound functional package. EXAR Frontier Gal 6990
To say this one is impressive is an understatement. When 313J hit the picture pen the other day, the first question I asked myself is why sell one like this. And truth be told, she would have sold last year as an elite show heifer had she not had frozen ears. We feel this is one that can raise the next level females for your program and has the power to raise bulls. No matter the breed you have the passion for, we feel this one can work. Power, body, bone, and look, 313J has it. Offered by JSC
Here is the moderate framed chunky one of this group of 6990. This Express daughter is built good from the ground up. One thing is for sure, she does lack a little in the ear and tail department but does make up for that in all the key areas to make a great cow for any program. Offered by JSC

This one has what it takes to raise elite progeny.

This pair or Relentless daughters are full sisters to the past sale high seller for 60K to Cardinal Cattle Company. We sold this one last year to our good friend and loyal customer, Dave Brandt. Before we had a chance to settle up with him, he passed away unexpectedly. When his son contacted us to get settled up, we told him to just send them back and we would re-rack them this year. It’s going to be weird on sale night not having Dave set in the same seat he has for years and pick off the buy of the sale like he always did. When he bought this one, he showed up at daylight like he always does the morning after and I told him “Well you did it again.” We do feel that this crazy colored beast is awesome built, stout, sound, and good looking. 53J is one a guy could breed to so many sires to make purebred Simmentals, % Simmentals, Maintainers, whatever your flavor is, this one could work.
