International Baccalaureate (I.B.) Diploma Results 2008 The I.B. was taken by 17 candidates this year, representing our second cohort for this examination. The I.B. is studied over two years with a total of 6 subjects being taken, 3 at H.L. and 3 at S.L. Each subject is worth a maximum of 7 points. In addition, candidates can obtain a maximum of 3 core points for the combined marks for the Extended Essay and the Theory of Knowledge.
