International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Results & Statistics 2009 25 girls took the IB Diploma this year and 9 of these girls scored 40 points or more: 1 girl scored 44 points 3 girls scored 43 points 2 girls scored 42 points 2 girls scored 41 points 1 girl scored 40 points Average Diploma score for the school was 38.20 (out of a possible maximum score of 45 points), which continues our excellent performance. Average grade per subject achieved by girls at Godolphin was 6.01 out of 7. All of this year’s IB candidates gained entry to their first choice of university. Three of this year’s IB girls will be studying at Oxford or Cambridge, two girls will begin courses in Medicine at Imperial College and Manchester respectively, six will be studying at Stanford, University of Pennsylvania, Georgetown, Whitman College and Virginia in the U.S.A. and two at Mc Gill university in Canada. One candidate chose to make a post-results application and two candidates chose to decline their places and re-apply for next year.
