Home Health aides

Home health aides help people stay safely in their own home by assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing and dressing, meal preparation, light housework and errands.

For many people, having an aide is the reason they can continue live in their own home instead of having to move to assisted living.

Individuals who receive aide services include everyone from special needs children to disabled adults to seniors.

No previous experience or education in caregiving or healthcare is required to become a certified home health aide.

A paid three-week course at Nascentia trains you in everything you need to know to become certified and begin caregiving.
