Professional Development Our programme of professional development activities responds to artists and professional needs. Being responsive in this way is integral to our ethos which aims to ensure a thriving artist-led sector. Members can access opportunities for residencies, open studios, commissions, space, facilities and one off projects. Behind the scenes we want to ensure we are informed and able to evidence why its important to support artists to their peers and decision makers. We do this through engaging in existing research leading on new content and being part of national and international networks.
Professional development
At the centre of our offer to members is the option of a tailored, one-to-one session with East Street Arts staff, who have experience and expertise in fundraising, accessing and developing space, curating, audience development and organisational structures, amongst other things.
