LATENT POWER PUBLIC ART FOR KIRKSTALL BY REBECCA APPLEBY
Leeds City Council’s Town and District Centre Regeneration Scheme have commissioned East Street Arts to work with artist Rebecca Appleby on the creation of a new public art commission for Kirkstall that sits within East Street Arts’ public art programme, A City Less Grey. Latent Power pays homage to the local heritage and industrial landscape, referencing the waterwheel that played an important role in the economic development of Kirkstall.
