FINANCING GRADUATE EDUCATION In addition to a wide range of private and federal offerings, ETSU offers graduate assistantships and tuition scholarships, both of which offer full tuition remission for in-state and out-of-state/international students. Out-of-state students, both full- or part-time, who do not have a Graduate Assistantship or Tuition Scholarships are qualified for either the George L. Carter Scholarship for those who live within a 250-mile radius of ETSU or the Sidney G. Gilbreath Scholarship for those those who live beyond a 250-mile radius of ETSU. Out-of-state students enrolled in exclusively online courses and programs are eligible to receive reduced tuition rates through the E-rate.
COST In-state maintenance fees and out-of-state tuition are calculated on a per semester-hour basis. There is a lot to consider when making a decision; visit our Paying for Graduate School page for funding opportunities and our Tuition and Fees Estimator: etsu.edu/payingfor-college/estimator.
