CHAT ROOM Who is Ahsan khan in real life? Explain your personality Well he is simple, basic and casual guy and I feel that sometimes I totally forget that I am an actor. I don’t usually get hang ups or have any particular petty issues and I never have the superiority complex that I am popular and people know me. I just enjoy it and I go with the flow. I feel that mostly its surprising at times that I am very positive and optimistic. If you ever put up a question, I will always find positivity in every situation and that’s the way I am. Who do you idealize in the industry? I don’t really think I idealize anyone as such in industry because everyone is different and you can’t copy someone. The key to success is to be an individual. Yes, you can be inspired from someone and you can like someone but no, I do not idealize someone.
television history, Udaari has brought a big change. How do you prepare yourself for a particular role? I read my character. I don’t really do the homework. I am spontaneous and random. I do make a character sketch in my mind and naturally things happen while I play the character. Which character can you relate to more as a person? Well I guess, Mausam was a very good play and I got the best actor award. The character itself was very sober so I will relate myself to that role.
3) How do you manage personal life with professional commitments? It’s very difficult to manage your professional and personal life but what I do is if I am working for whole 2 weeks, I will take 4 days off. If I work for a whole month, l take 8 days off. If I give some days to professional life, I take time out for family too. I am not really social. I mostly spend time with my family. I do not like to force myself to do something, I would rather do what I feel so I do not run after the things.
UDAARI CHARACTER IMTIAZ WAS A VERY DIFFICULT CHARACTER. THIS WAS THE FIRST CHARACTER OF ITS KIND IN PAKISTAN. IT WAS THE FIRST EDUCATIONAL PROJECT WHICH CREATED AWARENESS.
How different was the character you played in Udaari? Well, Udaari character Imtiaz was a very difficult character. This was the first character of its kind in Pakistan. The first educational project which created awareness. I personally put extra effort to the character. Not inspired by anybody to play Imtiaz and I did it on my own. In Pakistan
What kind of roles are coming your way and what things do you see before saying yes to project? I am lucky that all the good directors offered me their play, major roles either positive or negative. I have just signed two movies “Chupan Chupai” and “Rehbera”. I only say yes to a course only if my inner self

feel good about the character, team the whole idea, the director. I don’t think too much. If I feel like doing, I do it. Is there any character you would like to play? I would want to do something which is challenging as an actor. Do you want to cross the border and try your luck in films there? Well, why is crossing the border such a big deal. I have been offered roles that I never showed off. May be I didn’t like the certain character that’s why I refused. If something is very interesting, I might go for it. I have not been thinking about it lately. How many times do you watch your own movies? It’s very difficult to see yourself on screen because I never like myself on television as I always see a room for improvement. What was your best performance up till now? Best performance till now, umm i will say Udaari, Dastan, Pani Jesa Pyaar, Mausam and Neyat. What is your one favorite dialogue from any of your work? Recently there were so many dialogues in Udaari that got so popular. There was this dialogue “easy kara dun ga” that was a funny dialogue. You are someone who is associated with a lot of people adolescent thoughts and fantasies, how do you feel about that? People do relate celebrities and actors in many ways and that is perfectly fine. I feel really great about it that someone gives me respect and love.

Look 1 STEP 1: PRIMER
Apply a small quantity (pea size) of primer on your face with your fingertips. Recommended product (Benefit primer)
STEP 2: CONCEALER
Conceal your face by focusing on center of chin, forehead, area under eyes and bridge of the nose. Blend it with beauty blender. Recommended product (MAC Concealer).
STEP 3: FOUNDATION
Apply Mac studio fix for foundation and to give a natural look. Start from the center of face and blend it outwards. Recommended product (MAC studio fix).
STEP 4: CONTOURING
Contour. With a small angled brush starting at your brows, draw two straight lines down the sides of your nose using a powder 1-2 shades lighter than your skin tone. Connect these lines at the bottom, at an angle, between your nostrils. ( Anastasia Beverly Hills contouring kit) EBUZZ

I guess writing and direction are more draining and a brainy task,whereas acting is all heart when plethora of emotions exudes on the screen. What are your goals in this field? How do you see yourself progress in this field? At this moment, my Goal is to do more acting assignments. Recently directed and acted in a heartwarming venture for hum tv “chashme num” first time bringing a captivating short film culture on tv acting alongside the acting mammoth and an incredible human being Mr.Ahsan Khan. Going through some interesting scripts of dramas, Simultaneously a surprise feature film Project is in the pipelines. Who is your favorite actor? What have you learned from your senior actors? Spellbound by the world of cinema, a huge Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Meryl Streep, Jennifer Lawrence and Ranbir Kapoor fan. From our country we have some brilliant names from tv such as Ahsan Khan, Nauman Ejaz, Saba Qamar, Fawad Khan and Fahad Mustafa, learning from co actors has to be no matter how small big, monotnous or inspiring a role might be, do every shot with equal dedication and enthusiasm.
What kind of roles do you prefer? As an actor u have no inhibitions, so i am open to all sorts of roles which helps me exercise my creative instincts and refines me in my craft liberating into a proficient artist. So an open call to all out there, challenge my acting gears with some reallt well rounded fascinating characters. When was your first role as an actor? Way back in film school days,when we use to fool around in our theatre auditorium, shuffling around different characters from playing a dyonisus’s frog to antigony, from Indra sabha’s lal pari to a growling monster. Whatever you name and we’ve done it all in those fantastical aspiring actor days at BNU. Which one do you enjoy most and why; actor, director or as a writer? All three professions are distinct and has their own charm, writing is one woman game where isolated wandering and delving into your story world,direction a collaborative art where efficient skills and command as visual story teller is projected. What are your goals as a model? Modeling is a limited profession so i have almost achieved what i could practically but yes to eventually I want to be a role model for young girls and do something for the unfortunate has always been a goal and hopefully one day i will achieve it. How do you see yourself progress in this field? Well I’m very headstrong and hardworking , so definitely i see myself growing as a professional and as a person. Any tip for struggling models? Keep Going and don’t let anyone tell you any different! Your favorite photographer? The one who i started my career with and am still majorly working with him the one and only Mr. Khawar Riaz
How do you communicate with people? Are you patient? Are you friendly? How open are you to client’s requirements? Well I’m a very shy person so I’m very polite. And yes, I am Very patients and friendly also also.Well generally its their products like clothes and jewellery or makeup etc that I’m posing for so yes their input is necessary and if its practical and logical then why not! Do you eat nutritiously? Well i try to keep a healthy diet whenever i can, but i have a massive love for street food also !! How often do you exercise or go to the gym? I take walks frequently and thats just about it i have a good metabolism thank GOD! But eating right and taking my walks do help in maintaining a fit body.

When and why did you start Singing? I have been singing since I was in 5th grade. But if you mean professionally, I started performing on campus in my 2nd year of bachelors. But I think I have had it in me since forever. I would mouth the words to my fav cartoon theme songs before I learnt how to talk. Which famous musician do you admire? Why? Most musician I admire are not mainstream famous. One of my most favorite these days is Keaton Henson. But my inspirations keep changing from time to time. The reason I listen to Keaton these days is because he is very relate-able and despite being a great musician still can’t perform on stage because of his anxiety. Do you need play any instrument also? I don’t really play any instruments on stage but I compose my songs on a guitar. If you had to do it all over again, would you still choose this career? Would you do anything differently I would choose the struggle of making it as a female musician in Pakistan over a 9-5 desk job any day. What advice would you give to beginners who are nervous? Practice and be original. These two things combined will take you far. And don’t worry about people not liking you, you can never please everyone no matter how hard you try.

SAIMAABAIDULLAH Why did you decide to become a fashion designer? I decided to become a fashion designer because my mom is into this field. She is my inspiration and also a very creative woman who knows how to use her creativity in the best way. What is your favorite part about being a fashion designer? My favorite part about being a fashion designer is to explore new stuff, material and to create texture surfaces as it’s all about textures. What were your inspirations for the designs you created for the shoot? These designs are inspired from “Nature”. I have named this collection “Exotic Garden” because it includes botanical and floral work. I always like to work and extract things from nature. There are total seven articles in my collection and all seven are formal wear. In this collection there are luxury pret, formal wear, bridal wear and heavily embroidered velvet dresses. varies according to the dresses like for mehndi event lehnga choli. I have picked vibrant colors, for engagement and valima dresses I have selected soft pastel shades like silver and baby pink.
I searched about all the courses being taught in textile design. My interest then started to develop in textile design, that’s how I got myself here in fashion designing industry.
How did you select the materials you used? I sketched the designs myself and after sketching I decided which stuff/ material will go best with it. In this collection I have used resham work and pearl work. The details of the floral work has been done in a quite unique way.
What is the one thing you don’t like about fashion? I don’t like when people judge others. Not everyone can be the sample piece. From my point of view everyone have their own personality.
What are your plans for the future? I will launch my next collection in the season of spring in almost months’ time. My next collection will be about “prints”, which I will be doing on luxury pret. Formal dresses with digital print and party will be the part of my next collection as well. What interest you about fashion? Everything! When I was in university, in my 1st year I decided to go with fine arts but after completing my 1st year I decided to search about textile design.
What would one special thing about a design catch your attention? Layout, composition and the work been done on the dress are the most eye-catching points. At times color scheme is the one special thing that is eye catching. Do you think hair and make-up makes a difference on a model when promoting a design? Yes! Now a days people want wellpresented stuff, so looks of the models plays an important role in promoting a design. 1. Tell us about yourself. Where did you grow up? What college did you go, and what was that like?
I love the power of clothing. It can control how you are being perceived and what you communicate, clothing is a language all of its own. Fashion, for me, is all about creating a story, and everything needs to work together accordingly. It’s a way to express myself, a way to create something of my own. That kind of clear, concise vision aspired me to go to NCA (National college of Arts) and study design. The four magical and thought provoking years helped in polishing my skills and expertise. In 2012, (as a family tradition) went to do masters in Fashion from UK. Placement at Vivienne Westwood in England was an important turning point for my career as a fashion designer as it broadened my vision, strengthened and revolutionized my eye for sartorial details and finesse. At the very start of my career, I had the good fortune of working with some of the leading fashion designers of our industry which improved me professionally and personally.
2. What would you say most motivates you to do what you do? What motivates me most about fashion design is art and various other artsy disciplines. It incorporates hand drawing, computer aided design, painting and trillion other dimensions. Helps soothing the inner multitask-er super woman in me.

3. What are you most excited or passionate about?
I am very passionate and finicky about achieving the right details. I wouldn’t leave something until and unless it’s exactly what was in my mind (idea of perfection) keeps changing in my mind as I research more and that offends most people but can’t help it!

What are the goals you most want to accomplish in your work? I want my work to be absolute perfection in every possible way.
5. Did you have any lifechanging experiences that put
you on the path that led you to be doing what you’re doing today? Tell us about them.
Instead of having a ground breaking or life changing experience in my life, which would have instilled a new working spirit in me, fashion design was a passion that has been with me ever since I was a child. This art comes very naturally to me. Since childhood I was fond of playing with different colors and textures. I have always taken hurdles in my life as stepping stones for reaching my goal in life.
6. If you retired tomorrow and wanted to start a wildly different second career, what would you do? I am too young to think of retirement at the moment, but I cannot think of any other profession other than fashion design even if I retire because it is not just a profession, but a passion for me!
7. What are some of your hobbies? Reading, singing, drawing, anything creative and productive!
8. Do you enjoy travel? Where is your favorite place to visit? Florence, because it’s the city of romance and craftsmanship.
9. Currently which project are you working on?
I have recently joined a company as a creative director and very excited about it. Hoping to launch very soon.

For him, his camera is a tool that creates image which is both real and surreal, laced in fantasy. He almost photographs everything which interest his aesthetics.

The colors he has used in this photography are subtle and soft to reflect emotions. Way of his photography is unique. His photography doesn’t make women passive, they are quite strong and assertive. He has intensified the colors. Colors are super natural so it feels a little artificial or dreamlike. His photography is highly saturated rather than naturalistic. He takes beautiful shots of models, he don’t overdo the effects and adds natural look so that the dresses don’t lose their real beauty. Backgrounds he choose are elegant and in short truly represent the beauty of our country. He has used ultra-fine colors in his photography to reflect the emotions. International drifter and Red Bull Athlete Ahmad Daham visited Pakistan on December 24th. The basic purpose of his Pakistani tour was to interact with local drifters and conduct Red Bull Car Park Drift Workshop. During his stay in Pakistan Ahmad Daham even shot a clip in Baluchistan that will bring some of his best drifting skills and techniques to life. In an exclusive interview with EBUZZ Ahmad Daham gives us an overview of his first trip to Pakistan.
What differentiates Ahmad Daham from other drifters? Ahmad Daham: I am an expert car tuner and professional drifter; thus combining both worlds of guiding in skills and car setup. Tell us about your first Pakistan tour? Ahmad Daham: It exceeded my expectations, I can’t wait to visit Pakistan again! Everyone just loves drifting and has so much passion for motorsports; I am truly inspired by the people of Pakistan! You conducted the first Red Bull Car Park Drift Workshop in Lahore; tell us about your experience? Ahmad Daham: It was very successful! Everyone present at the Workshop got an idea of the

skills and techniques trending in the global drifting community. But hopefully next time it will be better after they do adjustments to their cars. Did you get a chance to experience local culture of Pakistan? If yes, how was the experience? Ahmad Daham: I got the opportunity to visit the beautiful Badshahi Mosque in Lahore. Yes I would love to. It’s very happening and very beautiful What was the most surprising thing you saw or did? The Shenandoah Valley in Virginia is a breathtaking place to visit. We did a 1.5 mile hike down to view a beautiful waterfall and back up for a 3 mile total

These are natural formations and have been formed over 100’s of years. The water when falls from the limestone formations are called CAVE KISS.
