Sajjad Ali Singer, composer, producer, song-writer…which of these roles represent the true Sajjad Ali? All of the above. Because the procedure of creating one song consists of all the various pehlus. Tell us a bit about your journey to where you have reached today - was it a difficult and challenging one? Oh God… please don’t ask me that. It’s been a loooong time. Haha. Is there a particular song of your own, which you never get tired of singing? Why? So many, actually. It’s a huge list, but one thing I can tell you, is that they’re songs which are lesser known by the masses. You live in Dubai now – how often do you visit Pakistan? And when you’re not here, what do you miss the most about it? I’m always in Pakistan for productions, recordings and gigs. So I’m pretty much always there. In recent years, you have gained a lot of

recognition for singing ghazals, but throughout your career you have experimented with various genres. Do you plan on revisiting other genres with your upcoming music releases? Lately, I only did one ghazal which was ‘Har Zulm Tera Yaad Hai’ and did songs which were from several different genres like ‘Tum Naraaz’, ‘Kirkir Kirkir’, ‘Rang Laaga’, ‘Katna Nai’, ‘Tasveer Bana Ke’, ‘Yaad’. And again, my latest song Nakhun, which is not a nazm nor a ghazal, is a geet ballad. Can you please share the inspiration behind the audio and video of your latest single Nakhun? One day I was revisiting Ghalib with my daughter, Zaw Ali, the director of the video, Nakhun. She was going through several different ghazals when we got to ‘Zakhm ke bharne talaq, nakhun na bhar aayen ke kya?’ We were sharing our point of views with each other. So what Ghalib

meant was, even though my wounds are getting better, my nails are also getting getting longer. Tau main apne zakhmon ko phir se khhurach loonga, aur unhe bharne nahin doonga. So the idea struck me to be relevant for relationships these days. I know many people who are living together but there’s continuous tension between the two, and things don’t get settled between them. And their ego, which is metaphorically portrayed through the word ‘Nakhun’ in the song, doesn’t let their relation to get better. So, the question is, is this how it’s suppose to go on? Will people keep on living with a sense of uncertainty and not be able to work out their relationships? This is how Nakhun came about. Then Zaw started to conceptualize my thoughts into visuals and came about with the idea of the video. How was the experience of working with Rabia Butt, you co-star in the music video of Nakhun? Why did you choose her for this particular role? Rabia was chosen by my wife and daughter as they thought she fit the character perfectly. She was very pleasant to work with very professional and cooperative.

You have been speaking about the lack of revenue generating opportunities for local musicians recently. How can we overcome this hurdle, in your opinion? We’re actually going through a transitional phase right now. All around the world, millions are downloading free media but at the same time, millions are also heavily buying the digital media. Unfortunately, in our county, free download cultural mindset reigns at an all time high. It’s at its 100%. My most viral song ‘Har Zulm’ didn’t even sell more than 700 copies out of millions of my fans from all over the world. But I think our society is dealing with so many bigger problems that the betterment of the entertainment industry isn’t exactly a priority. :)
I know many people who are living together but there’s continuous tension between the two, and things don’t get settled between them.
You have been a very important part of Coke Studio some of their all time biggest hits have been performed by you. There has been a lot of speculation about the upcoming seventh season, especially since the format will be changed and various producers will be overseeing the season. How do you EBUZZ
feel about this change? Do you think it was necessary? Will it lead the show to the right direction in your opinion? Well… why not? I was, infact, asked to produce this season but due to other commitments I couldn’t do it. But all the other producers Coke has chosen are talented and pretty good choices. But let’s see how many brand new songs they would produce rather than the typical remakes. That’s something that I look forward to.
What message would you like to give your fans around the world and the readers of eBuzzToday? Chacha Naseehat is no longer required. :)

Wedding Trends
By zuha afzal As summer approaches we see an upward shift in the wedding events. As we see shift in the events we also see the fast changing pace of fashion industry. Nowadays it is nearly impossible for a bride to not get concerned about her wedding Jora. Weddings in our society are a fun extensive event which usually last at least a week or may be more. Starting from the Mehndi, Baraat and ending up with a Walima event, wedding functions these days can easily make a girl nervous on what style she needs to pick as her wedding dress. Being a Bride means being the star of the show, a constant center of attraction, and who doesn’t want to look the best on her big day. Almost every girl dream of having that unique color and dress that makes her day a memorable one. In this issue we will discover and reveal the top trending wedding styles for this season. Although my main

focus is on the Dulhan’s Jora, the top picks can serve as a guiding source to all the brides’ maid and all the cousins, sisters, friends of the bride who plan to wear a beautiful trendy outfit for the wedding. Thanks to our fashion designers who save all our time of wandering here and there to select a classy style. The bridal fashion weeks and different bridal collections immensely helps us in making up our mind of what to choose and what not to. Starting from Mayun, the current trend is the Chunri style material, which is very much highlighted, it looks traditional yet very girly for this specific event. Colors vary from the typical yellow and green combinations to various color plays ranging from blues and oranges to purples but yellow stays the dominating color. It looks like short shirts with shalwars are going to make a comeback, the patiala look will give it a more traditional touch. Short shirts with cigarrete pants is what we have seen a lot this past season. Also long shirts can be paired up with a churidar for this event. www.ebuzztoday.com
for the season
trends
The Mehndi function is all about Lehnga Choli the typical style with a color fusion of bright colorful palatte ranging from different combinations of cool and warm colors. The lehnga is drapped with motifs and heavy borders and also tassels to give it a more unique look. The choli is either a banarsi material or a gota worked intricated on chiffon or net. The fusion of colors is what I love the most instead of the typical green and orange colors, we get to experience and enjoy the colorful outfits by pairing them up with entirely different shades. However brides also tend to pick Anarkali styled dress as the event spotlight for this function in order to give a unique look. Following the traditions many women aim to pick the traditional Sharara outfit for the wedding event, however this season we see a lot of different styles of sharara. Long drapped shirts are still seen on the ramps with exquisite work of heavy embroidery, double paneled long shirts with fine detailed work. Moreover the wedding dresses in the gatherings have been strongly set with the ornament of the stone, dabka, themes and utilization of awesome expression of weave. Color palette varies some still go for the traditional reds and maroons for their big day, but most likely brides nowadays try different unique colors for the wedding event shades of purple and red give a more royal look to the entire style adding glamor to the look. Navy blue and tones of red are playful for the event, whereas brides consider pairing up shades of pink with aqua greens to give a soft tone to the dress. Wrapping up the event walima is the last function which is considered to be comparatively sophisticated than all other events of the wedding. Long shirts have been paired up with lehngas in addition to dresses and straight cut shirts. Maxis with long draped back also called the fish tail style is also on the list. The palette involves around pastel colors, Walima is dominated by shades like peach pink, mint green, lilac, tea pink and soft blues. The draped cloth gives it a more royal touch, we either see a fully embellished shirt paired with a light dupatta or a light shirt with a heavy intricate work on the dupatta.

Sunscreen
Cancer is no joke! No matter what season it is, make it a point to wear sunscreen every day, applying it 15minutes before you head out. Your sunscreen must be at least 15 on the Sun Protection Factor and protect you against broad spectrum(UVA and UVB). Considering how hot and humid our summers are, opt for serum based sunscreen.
Blotting sheets These are lightweight sheets popularly known as rice paper sheets. They will help you blot away oil along with any shine on your face, and you can touch up with a small dusting of powder without appearing cakey.

Bronzer and highlighter
Take advantage of the bright sun by applying highlighter on top of your cheekbones, cupids bow, and top of your nose. The sunlight hitting your face will literally make you glow. To add a little more glamor in your makeup, add a touch of bronzer on your cheekbones, jawline, and temple.
Primer
The longevity of your makeup depends on using a primer. Use an oil controlling primer that will prevent your makeup from oozing halfway down your face. If your skin is excessively dry, opt for a moisturizing illuminating primer. The recent trend of using post shave balm works if you have normal to dry skin.

Say hello to a well put look to go with the expensive lawn jora you just sold a kidney for. This summer is all about minimalistic dewy makeup, which shows your features at its best without looking like you have used heavy duty paint. Following are the essentials you require for a melt-proof, shine free glorious summer.
Concealer
Summer is all about minimalist makeup so skip your usual foundation and replace it with a dense concealer. Considering the increased temperature and humidity, the biggest mistake you can make with your makeup is layering on foundation. Therefore, dab concealer at the areas required, and set it with slight dusting of translucent powder.

Bonus tips
Powder
For a flawless look, it is imperative that you have good skin to work with. Here are a few tips that will help:
Set your concealer with a light dusting of translucent powder. Avoid the recent trend of “Baking your face, as your concealer will in fact to patchy with too much powder on your face.
01
Mascara
Skip the eyeliner and use waterproof mascara that will give you length and volume. Avoid fake eyelashes, but if the occasion calls for it, find individual eyelashes as they will feel lighter and give a more natural look.
Stay hydrated: drink lots of water and use a hydrating mask on your skin before you go to sleep
02 Setting spray Just like the sunscreen, do not skip out on this item in your makeup bag. A good setting spray will make all the difference. It will really seal in your makeup and prevent it from smudging or melting.
Lipsticks
Say goodbye to creamy formulas and opt for liquid lipsticks that are long lasting, matte, and moisturizing at the same time. Keep three basics in your bag: Nude, Crimson Red/Pink, and dark vampy color.
Makeup wipes: The best wipes are baby wipes as they are inexpensive, super hydrating, and one pack has almost 100 wipes. Use them after you come home, to clean your makeup before you wash your face.
03 Wash you face once a day. It is better to wash your face in the night before you hit the sheets, as at night your skin rejuvenates between 12am and 3am. In the morning, use water and a wash cloth to clean your face.
04 Moisturize twice a day: once before you hit the sheets and once when you wake up regardless of the skin type.

Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge!
The Android flagship to beat Samsung has tweaked the winning design from the S6 & S6 Edge, righted the wrongs of its previous flagships, and made a phone you don’t want to put down. The Samsung Galaxy S7 & S7 Edge is iterative perfection.
Build & Design
Samsung has differentiated the Galaxy S7 and its curved sibling a bit more than it did last year. When it comes to the choice between a flat and a curved display, each has its own appeal. Using the Galaxy S7 after having spent time with the S7 Edge feels almost constricting. You become very aware of the hard rectangular screen border, whereas the S7 Edge feels boundless. In most other respects, the two siblings are identical. Everything is in the same place on both: a physical home button with integrated fingerprint reader below the screen, capacitive Back and Recent buttons, a power button on the right, and volume buttons on the left. The physical ones on the S7 Edge are a little narrower, but no more or less easy to use. For some reason, Samsung decided not to jump on the USB Type-C bandwagon, as nearly every other company already has. Both phones have standard Micro-USB ports on the bottom, with a 3.5mm audio socket to the left and a small speaker grille to the right. A tray on the top can hold either two Nano-SIMs or one Nano-SIM and one microSD card. While we’re never happy to see hybrid slots which force users to choose. Another interesting thing about the phones’ SIM trays is that they have rubber flanges to protect against ingress. Both phones are rated IP68 for water and dust resistance, and they have achieved this without flaps covering the ports. Samsung has managed to shave down the camera bumps on the rear so that there’s barely more than a protective ring around the lens on both phones. Each one has an identical module to the right, comprised of the flash and a heart rate sensor. There’s a shiny silver Samsung logo lower down, and only if you look really hard will you see the incredibly light regulatory text near the bottom. The phones do seem durable, though of course falls onto hard surfaces will leave dents and dings.
Specifications
Other than screen size and battery capacity, the Galaxy S7 siblings share a lot of the same guts. The Galaxy S7 has a 5.1-inch screen while the one on the S7 Edge measures 5.5 inches diagonally. Both are Super Amoled panels, and both have the same resolution of 1440x2560 pixels, or Quad-HD. While the smaller of the two has a 3000mAh battery, the bigger one has enough space to accommodate 3600mAh unit. Samsung sells these phones with Exynos 8890 and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820. The Exynos 8890 has eight CPU cores, four of which are a custom in-house design called Mongoose and run at up to 2.6GHz, while the other four use ARM’s Cortex-A53 design and run at 1.5GHz. It also features integrated ARM Mali -T880 graphics, and LTE Cat 12/13 support. These are all cutting-edge specs and performance should be equivalent to that of the Snapdragon 820 - though proprietary features such as Qualcomm’s Zeroth AI platform don’t seem to be accounted for either way. There’s also 4GB of RAM, and 32 or 64GB of fixed storage. MicroSD card support goes up to 200GB and USB-OTG EBUZZ

is available as well, which might be why there’s no 128GB option. You get Wi-Fi b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, ANT+ and GPS, but Infrared has been dropped, so you lose the Galaxy S6’s handy remote control feature.
Camera
On the camera front, both the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 Edge come with a dual-pixel 12MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera. Both the cameras sport a maximum aperture of f/1.7 which looks quite impressive on paper. Samsung has ensured that the rear camera is almost flush with the body. Samsung Galaxy S6 series cameras were the best we tested last year. With the dual-pixel AF technology and a 12MP sensor, Samsung S7 edge has improved upon the focus acquisition speeds as compared to the S6 series. There was really no issues we faced while testing the camera in any lighting condition. Normally the phone cameras excel with daylight and outdoor photography, but S7 edge maintains the consistency even in low light conditions. There were many areas where competing cameras couldn’t even see the scene and the Galaxy S7 edge just gave decently usable images. Images are packed with details and there is a decent amount of sharpness throughout the image. Low light images do show some amount of noise, but it is well controlled. Focusing speeds are some of the quickest we have seen in recent phone cameras. Even selfies in low light turned out to be usable, of course with some noise. The f/1.7 aperture really helps a lot with both the front and rear cameras in many different lighting situations.
www.ebuzztoday.com
Video camera
The Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge has a feature-rich camcorder, capable of high-res 4k/30fps video, high frame rate 1080p/60fps, and slow motion at 720p/240fps, among others. Ultra HD videos are nice and detailed, and exhibit largely the same excellent properties as still images. The fast autofocus sure helps, but on occasion, and particularly in 60fps FullHD video, the S7 hunts for focus for no apparent reason.
core scores were 2,086 and 6,431 respectively. BrowserMark gave us a result of 3,309 points. As far as graphics go, 3DMark’s Ice Storm Unlimited run threw out an eye-melting score of 27,830, while GFXBench ran at 53 fps. The Galaxy S7 Edge did just as well. All scores recorded by both phones were within reasonable margins of each other, with perhaps only a very slight advantage going to the S7 Edge - the only possible explanation would be less aggressive thermal throttling due to its larger body. We saw 128,769 in AnTuTu, 53,784 in Quadrant, 2,087 and 6,518 in Geekbench, 3,274 in BrowserMark, 28,677 in 3DMark Ice Storm Unlimited, and exactly the same 53fps in GFXBench.
Battery life
Performance
Battery life was a different story, with the Galax y S7 Edge’s 20 percent capacity advantage largely wiped out by its bigger screen. It lasted 17 hours, 49 minutes in our video loop test. The smaller Galaxy S7 lasted a relatively more efficient 16 hours, 26 minutes. With regular use involving lots of 4G data use and a bit of gaming and videos, both phones lasted at least a full day and through the next morning. Quick charging worked perfectly well - it’s the kind of thing you can’t live without after getting used to it.
We had a great time with both, the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 Edge, It should go without saying that pretty much every app we threw at these phones worked well, even games. Heavy video files also played very well. Sound from both phones’ speakers was loud and didn’t distort. We didn’t notice any heating except when the phone was plugged in. Samsung says this is normal, and you have the option to disable fast charging for this very reason. Benchmark scores were all absolutely phenomenal, reaching levels we’ve never seen before. The Galaxy S7 pushed out 128,140 in AnTuTu and 55,642 overall in Quadrant. Geekbench’s single-core and multiMAY-JUN 2016
