Game Notes (does not include last game) A Look at the Hawks: The Hawks of Hartwick College enter this weekend of Empire 8 Conference play with a 2-9 overall record and 0-3 mark in conference games. Hartwick recorded non-conference wins over Morrisville State College and The College at Brockport, outscoring both the Mustangs and the Golden Eagles by a combined 8-1 score. Offensive Leaders: Hartwick has received scoring from seven players in 2014, led by their lone double-digit point producer, Claudia Stone ’18. Stone has 13 points, coming on five goals and three assists, and has also tallied one game-winning goal. Behind Stone is fellow freshman Mckenzie Bond ’18 who has nine points on four goals and one assist, as well as Mikaelan Stuligross ’17 and Maxine Dunn ’17 who each have six points on two goals and two assists. Main Hawk in Net: Newcomer Yanna Boggio ’18 has started every game for the Hawks this season, playing nearly 638 minutes in goal. She has a goals against average of 3.73 in her rookie campaign, recording 113 saves while earning both of Hartwick’s wins.
