Last Time Out
The Soaring Eagles took down Fredonia State, 62-56, Tuesday night improving their overall record to 7-11. EC got a season-best 26 points from Neil Randolph ’15 and knocked-down a total of 13 three-pointers in the win.
Snapping the Streak
Elmira’s road victory over Fredonia brought EC’s four-game losing streak to an end. The four-game skid was the longest of the season and dropped Elmira from 4-2 to 4-5 in conference play.
Big Empire 8 Weekend
At 4-5 in Empire 8 play, the Soaring Eagles stand sixth in the conference standings. EC is two wins shy of Hartwick College, Alfred University, and Stevens Tech, the institutions that currently hold the third, fourth, and fifth spots in the Empire 8 standings.
Season-High for Randolph
After posting back-to-back five-point efforts in losses to Utica College and SUNY Cortland, Neil Randolph ’15 scored a game- and seasonhigh 26 points in EC’s 62-56 victory at Fredonia State. Randolph’s previous season-high was 24 points, which came in a 76-68 overtime victory at Clarkson University.
Seven from Downtown
Neil Randolph ’15 used seven made three-pointers to fill out his 26-point night. The seven successful three-point attempts are a new career-high for the senior forward, eclipsing his previous high of five which came against Utica College on February 1, 2014.
