Game Notes Last Time Out: The Panthers of Pitt-Bradford enter tonight’s non-conference match with a 2-2 overall record after competing in the University of Scranton Tournament last weekend. Pitt-Bradford opened the tournament with a perfect 2-0 record with a pair of wins against Bard College and Wentworth Institute of Technology before dropping their next two contests to Keystone College and the University of Scranton. Returning Veterans: Pitt-Bradford returns several key players from a season ago, including last season’s kills leader in Taylor McMillen ’15 as well as the Panther’s top two setters in Peyton Kauffman ’15 and Brittni Cumberland ’15. McMillen will be both setters’ main target as the 2013 AllAMCC First Team selection posted a season-high 21 kills against the Soaring Eagles last season. On the other hand, Cumberland just might be as big of a threat with her transitioning into more of an attacking role this season as she has already posted a pair of double-digit kill performances. One Win From Career 150: Head coach Tina Phillips is sitting on 149 career wins after picking up two wins this past weekend in Scranton. One more win for Coach Phillips will give her 150 career wins at Pitt-Bradford.
