is a series of six mural designs in wallpaper format. The collaboration between a children’s books illustrator and a mechanical engineer gave birth to the concept of passion and love, finding odd ways to draw attention, through six stories and six corresponding images. passion and love is in the air; we are constantly surrounded by them. They find life in objects, animals, clouds, paper, bugs and even vehicles.
you can now, surround your everyday life with passion and love by pasting one or more of these stories on your wall.
there was a young sheep. one day, he got lost. one minute he was running around with his friends in the fields, the next minute he was chasing after a butterfly and when he looked behind, there was no one left. the sheep was not scared. first, he tried to recall the route he took, but no... he realized he had not been paying attention at the time. then, the sheep decided to go on a journey in search of his family and friends. he had to find them. during his journey, the sheep walked on fields he had never walked on, drank water from rivers he was not familiar with, ate grass that did not taste anything like he could have ever imagined. then, the sheep found a hill. a hill that was higher than all the hills he had seen before. he decided to climb up on it. who knows, maybe his friends and family were there. as the sheep got higher on the hill, he recognized other sheep, they were moving in a strange way though. they did not want to run, they only liked it when there was a strong wind. but the sheep did not like wind. and they were very silent all the time, it was disturbing. but the sheep was getting used to it more and more every day. he liked his new friends, with all their oddities. before he knew, he had become one of them already.
the boy had always been an admirer of the wind. he considered the way wind touched his ears, the way it sang in them, to be the the most beautiful lullaby. wind was sweet, gentle and kind, it had a perfect, unique rhythm, and the boy knew this since the first moment they met. since that first moment, he had been wanting to be the wind when he grew up. the boy wanted to be as sweet and as powerful as the wind; he wanted to sing lullabies in children’s ears. what do you want to be when you grow up? I want to be the wind. seriously, boy, what do you want to be once you’re all grown up? I want to grow up to be the wind. years went by with him feeling the same way. not one bit different. the boy woke up on his twelfth birthday, got up from his bed to go to the bathroom, and felt a knot in his throat. he coughed three times. then, magically, paper airplanes started to rush out of his mouth and fly - so many that he could not begin to count. the boy knew. he had grown up to be the wind after all.
this is the story of the longer truck and the shorter truck. the longer truck lived in the north pole and the shorter truck lived in Korea. but there were three things they had in common:
1 they were both adopted. they both had been grown up by seagulls.
2 naturally, they were both better at swimming and flying than walking and running.
3 they had no idea about each other’s existence.
one day, they flew into each other. big coincidence! here is how it happened: Korea had been getting warmer, it was becoming too warm for the shorter truck’s family to have the life they wanted. that is when they decided to migrate north. around the same time, the longer truck’s family was flying towards south above Asia for their monthly vacation they took every year. the longer truck’s family and the shorter truck’s family took the same route in opposite directions and naturally, at some point, the two seagull families flew into each other. also, at that same exact point, the longer truck and the shorter truck fell in love with each other. it was love at first sight. it was love high up in the clouds. it was love of the longer truck and the shorter truck.
one umbrella was complaining to another umbrella about how bored she was of rain, at a tea party a friend they had in common was having. she suggested that they should change things around, show water who’s the boss. according to the umbrella, it could not go on like this, someone had to stand up and say no. and she knew she was the one to do so. in no time, she had thousands of followers, and soon, the group got larger and they became strong enough to beat their enemy - water. for the first time in history, umbrellas were going to fall from the sky on water, not the other way around. umbrellas were going to become rain. they were going to redefine the meaning of the word, rain. ... all those things happened as they had been invisioned. none of it would have happened if it wasn’t for that first fed up umbrella at a tea party.
what about the bugs in the air? there are always bugs in the air. there are always bugs flying around, especially around light bulbs. but no one has ever heard the story of the loneliest light bulb in the world. this light bulb was very picky. he did not like any bug he met; he did not exactly dislike them either, but he had a way of finding every one’s drawbacks- even the very subtle ones. he was very attractive too, no bug could say no to him, but that did not matter because he never saw a bug that he could consider to be perfect. he would refuse any bug that wanted to give him a kiss. he would not even look at them. it was as if he could smell their minor faults. that was the loneliest light bulb in the world. but he was never alone. the bugs loved him no matter what. he had good soul, somewhere deep inside. one day, the light bulb will learn to appreciate that.
the whale felt trapped in the ocean. he wanted to be all around the world, on land and in water, and leave traces. he wanted to be remembered, but more than that, he wanted to remember it all and know it all. that was the only thing he could dream of at night; every single night, the whale had the same dream. in his dream, the whale had an infinite supply of dish washer liquid. all the dish washer liquid one can imagine. he would drink all the bottles until there were none left - this would take years. by that time, he would be two-hundred-and-seventy-five years and eighty-three days old. that is when he would start blowing bubbles in the ocean. the bubbles would rise up to the surface and keep moving up and up and up and up and up and up and up and up and up and up and up and up. the bubbles, each representing one piece of the whale, would slowly be scattered evenly on every continent and all the oceans and seas and lakes and rivers... at the end of his dream,
the whale was all around the world, he had seen it all, known it all. at last.
he knew that he would be remembered by all. he was all around the world, and he was a whale.
