YOUNG IMPRESSIONISTS - C10W5 Saturdays, January 23 to March 6 - 7 WEEKS 10am to 12noon $95 Member / $105 Non-member The theme of this session is "Natural Wonders"! This class will focus on different methods of art making including found material sculpture, painting and drawing. This 18 week program will help children develop confidence in public speaking and singing, as they rehearse, design sets and props, prepare costumes, and finally, perform for an audience, an adapted version of the musical Peter Pan by J.M. Arts Theatre Seekers February 2 to April 13 4pm to 5:30pm $120 Non Members

‘Off Set Camera Arts Theatre Seekers’ encourages kids to grow their unique inner voice and celebrate differences and the unexpected through improvisational drama, creative movement and movie making. HERITAGE LECTURE SERIES These interactive lectures will help audiences understand the impact they can have on preserving and conserving historical landmarks and landscapes. Reception starts at 6:30 - Lecture begins at 7 p.m. Tickets $10 each - $8 for members $35 for series of 4 January 21 - Taking Charge: Citizens Heritage Involvement. Dr. Shipley is an Assistant Professor and Director of the Heritage Resource Centre at the University of Waterloo. Dr. Shipley has been asked to consult on the study underway for a Heritage Conservation District in Elora. Chris Hart is the Manager and Project Coordinator for Greenlands Centre Wellington. Shawn P. Watters is a golf course architect. His firm specializes in planning engineering and design. May 13 - Heritage Centre Wellington: Our Past Tomorrow. Members of the Committee will answer questions, and speak on subjects of interest to residents of Centre Wellington. Singing Stars January 21 to March 4 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. $40 Member/$50 Non Member Develop your child’s voice and confidence as a Singing Star! With a final goal of a fun and energetic recital for friends and family. Weekly exercises/games consist of vocal warm-up, breath control, enunciation, pitch, rhythm and tempo. Each child will be given the opportunity to sing solo or as part of a group. Final performance March 4 at 6 p.m. 7 weeks. Instructor: Bronte Vincent.

MARCH BREAK FUN March Break Art Camps COOL ARTS - C10W6 – 5 to 7 yrs Monday to Friday, 9am to 12noon, Half Days $70 Member/ $80 Non member Let’s turn the temperature up in the art room with our creative ideas and individual style. Learn about the creative process with activities that include three dimensional “fire pots”, cool icicles, winterized self – portraits and a floating mobile constructed in the style of artist Alexander Calder. Try your hand at drawing, painting and sculpture and learn some of the fundamental principles of art making such as composition, shape and colour. Instructor: Eileen MacArthur, BA

Snap – Edit- Frame ADVENTURES WITH A CAMERA Tuesday, March 16 & Wednesday, March 17 1:00pm to 4:30pm $55 Member / $65 Non Designed for teens with a creative flair and who love to push the limits of photography. We’ll explore ways to go beyond representational photography – looking for shapes, patterns and textures, and creating abstract impressions using people and places. Explore how to make basic corrections, and create collages, photo illustrations, funky abstractions and more using Photoshop. Bring your camera and a lap-top if possible.
