Welcome to Who’s Who in Cashmere Business Welcome! I am Patti Davis, 2010 President of the Cashmere Chamber of Commerce. We are a voluntary, non-profit partnership of business and professional people working together to build a healthy economy and to improve the quality of life here in Cashmere. As the Chamber works to accomplish these goals, we take on many different functions: economic developer and planner, tourist information center, business spokesperson, economic counselor and teacher, government relations specialist, human resources advisor, and public relations practitioner. In other words, we are here to tell the story of our business community! Our members are businesses, organizations, and
individuals concerned with the economic health of our community. These groups have joined together because they stand a better chance of getting things done when speaking with one voice. Last year the Chamber established the development of a “shop local” campaign to build awareness of just how many local businesses we have here in Cashmere. Last December many of you received a flyer from us that discussed some of the benefits of shopping locally, or as we call it, “Keep the Cash in Cashmere!” We believe that another important step to building customer loyalty for local businesses is by building customer awareness. This partnership between the Chamber and the Cashmere Valley Record is an
Discover Who’s Who
Patti Davis exciting new way for us to do just that. All of the businesses you will see in this guide are your friends and neighbors. You’ll see them grabbing a latté at the Hometown Market or doing their grocery shopping at Martin’s Marketplace. You’ll

see names of these businesses on the donor list for Founders’ Days, Cashmere High School, and many other civic projects. And, of course, many of these businesses employ locals and buy local supplies. We are blessed to have so many independently-owned businesses right here in Cashmere, and we are committed at the Chamber to keeping our economy strong. On behalf of my fellow board members, I want to thank Bill Forhan, publisher and staff of the Cashmere Valley Record for jointly sponsoring the first “Who’s Who” directory of Cashmere businesses. We hope that you will keep this guide handy and refer to it often. Thank you for your support of local businesses.
