people met that first Sunday to worship the Lord, listen to His Word and encourage one another in their faith. • The church moved into its present building near Lake L’Homme Dieu on Highway 29 North in 1983. • In 1984, New Testament Christian School was founded for the purpose of providing a sound academic education for children through a Christ-centered atmosphere and curriculum. The school offers classes for children in grades kindergarten through 12. OUR MISSION: New Testament Church seeks to be a Spirit-filled, Spirit-led and Spirit-empowered church. Its mission is to: 1. Minister to the Lord by worshiping in spirit and in truth. 2. Minister to one another in humility and love. 3. Minister to the world through local evangelism and foreign missions. To accomplish this, the church teaches the Bible as God’s standard for people’s lives, and it urges them to grow in their relationship with God.
