The ceremony featured comments from Sen. Bill Ingebrigtsen, Mark Anthony from KXRA and Pastor Mike Bartolomeo from Church for the Harvest, along with music provided by Chelsea Lee from KIKV and Chuck Wencl from the Red Willow Arts Coalition. Taps was played by Steve Pederson, military bugler. Firefighters from the Garfield Fire Department and members of the Douglas County Honor Guard also took part in the ceremony.
