“UM TRAÇO ANGOLANO” EM HOMENAGEM A HENRIQUE ABRANCHES“AN ANGOLAN TRAIT” HONORS HENRIQUE ABRANCHES

Realizada pelo Goethe-Institut Angola e o Memorial António Agostinho Neto (MAAN), a exposição “Um Traço Angolano” é uma homenagem a Henrique Abranches e está disponível para visita no MAAN até Janeiro de 2022. Apesar de ter nascido em Lisboa, Henrique Abranches era um angolano convicto, que, na sua casa, educou gerações de jovens nas artes visuais, tendo, igualmente, servido de conselheiro de vida para alguns deles. “Um Traço Angolano” surge da ideia de antigos alunos, como Abraão Eba, e é produzida pelo Goethe-Institut e pelo estúdio Olindomar. Além de obras em banda desenhada, pinturas, livros e documentos do próprio Abranches, inclui fotografias. In a collaboration between Goethe-Institut Angola and Memorial António Agostinho Neto (MAAN), the exhibition “Um Traço Angolano / An Angolan Trait” is a tribute to Henrique Abranches, open for viewing at MAAN until January 2022. Although born in Lisbon, Henrique Abranches was a staunch Angolan who, in his home, educated generations of young people in the visual arts, also acting as a life counselor for some of them. “Um Traço Angolano” was inspired by the idea of a former student, Abrãao Eba, and was produced by Goethe-Institut Angola and Olindomar studio. In addition to comics, publications, books and documents by Abranches himself, the show includes archival photography of moments in his life.

ANGOLA RESTAURANT WEEK 2021 ANGOLA RESTAURANT WEEK 2021 O Angola Restaurant Week deste ano decorre de 22 de Novembro a 5 de Dezembro e vai ter novamente a Sogrape (Vinus Angola) como parceira. O evento é uma iniciativa anual do Luanda NightLife (LNL), que acontece simultaneamente em vários restaurantes, e visa, além de promover a cultura gastronómica, democratizar o acesso à restauração de boa qualidade. Tem ainda uma forte componente solidária, já que 500 Akz de cada menu vendido é doado a uma instituição de responsabilidade social. This year’s Angola Restaurant Week runs from November 22 to December 5, and will again have Sogrape (Vinus Angola) as a partner. The event is an annual initiative of Luanda NightLife (LNL) that takes place simultaneously in several restaurants and aims, apart from promoting cuisine culture, to democratize the access to good quality restaurants. It also has a strong solidarity component since 500 AKZ of each menu sold is donated to a social responsibility institution.

RAFAEL MARQUES NO GOZATV RAFAEL MARQUES ON GOZATV Dirigido por Tiago Costa, o talk-show GOZAtv, do dia 08 de Novembro, terá como convidado o jornalista e activista político Rafael Marques. Trata- -se de um evento semanal, com audiência presencial, em que o anfitrião conduz a conversa de forma bem-humorada, passando pela vida pessoal e profissional do seu convidado. O GOZATv é uma rubrica da plataforma GOZaqui e acontece às terças-feiras, às 19 horas, na antiga Casa dos Desportistas, na Ilha de Luanda. Directed by Tiago Costa, the November 8 GOZAtv talk-show will have as guest journalist and political activist Rafael Marques. In this weekly event with a live audience, the host reviews the personal and professional life of the invitee during a humorous conversation. GOZAtv is a section of the GOZaqui platform and takes place on Tuesdays, at 19:00, at the former Casa dos Desportistas in Luanda Island.

GOZAÉFÊMEA COM LUATY BEIRÃO GOZAÉFÊMEA WITH LUATY BEIRÃO No dia da Independência de Angola, 11 de Novembro, a “versão feminina” do GOZTv, o GozaÉFêmea, terá como tema o “Patriotismo” e o convidado será o activista e rapper Luaty Beirão. A conversa é dirigida por Lourdes Cardoso e Renata Torres, que também tratam da coordenação dessa iniciativa cultural semanal, que acontece na antiga Casa dos Desportistas, na Ilha de Luanda. On Angola’s Independence Day, November 11, the “female version” of GOZAtv, GOZAéFêMea, will feature “Patriotism” and the guest will be the activist and rapper Luaty Beirão. The conversation will be hosted by Lourdes Cardoso and Renata Torres, who also coordinate the weekly cultural initiative, which takes place at the former Casa dos Desportistas in Luanda Island.
