Last Monday, 8th July, members of the school Chess team took on an adult team that included staff, parents and friends of the school. The games were hard fought with the adults just pipping the team, who have vowed revenge next year. Huge thanks to Mr Parsons who organised the event and has run Chess Club all year, and to all the adults who took part.

The walls are bare in our new wellbeing room and we’d like to put some canvases up, so we’re challenging all our pupils and parents to take an incredible shot of local nature/wildlife that is eye-catching enough to display in school. Your challenge is to take a photo of wildlife/nature, this summer IN SOMERSET. All photos must be printed out (5 x 7 if possible) and handed in by the deadline of Wednesday 11th September. We will display the entries in an exhibition and choose a pupil and a parent winner. All photos must be your own original work. The winning entries will be on display in our wellbeing area by October half term.
