MURIEL FERRIS RIP: Muriel will be ‘resting’ overnight in St Ben’s Church on Wednesday 7th November when the Church will be open for an hour between 45pm for people to come and pay their last respects to Muriel. The funeral will then be held at Mendip Crematorium on Thursday 8th November at 12.30pm followed by a Memorial Service in St Ben’s Church at 1.30pm. Refreshments will be served after the Service. We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible who knew and loved Muriel at the Service. Ivor Affleck-Edwards

RAINBOW CHURCH: After a successful start to Rainbow Church we are delighted to host the next event in St Johns. This will be on Saturday 10th November when we will welcome The Revd. Nick Bundock from Manchester who will give a talk about “Beyond Inclusion: Lizzie Lowe's story”. This will focus on a tragic event in Nick's Parish which had a major effect on the ministry of his Church. There will be Morning Prayer at 9am, Coffee and Tea available from 10am and a Talk at 11am, this will be followed by a Service at 12noon. Those attending are invited to bring lunch – drinks provided. All Welcome!

Home Library Service: Bringing library books to the doorstep – the Home Library Service is a free service run in partnership with the Royal Voluntary Service and Somerset’s Library Service. It is available to anyone who cannot easily get to the library, often those who are vulnerable or who may have disabilities or mobility needs. This is such a great service for people who love to read but can no longer get to the library. A volunteer will deliver and collect books which the person would like.
