Dream, Believe, Achieve. Newsletter 8 7th November 2018 Dear Mums, Dads & Carers,  Parents' Evening appointments tomorrow (Thursday 8th ) & next Tuesday (13th November) – if you have not already done so please contact your child’s teacher to arrange an appointment. PLEASE NOTE: There will be no after school clubs on Thursday 8th and Tuesday 13th November. Glastonbury Foodbank Thank you to all who donated items for our Harvest Festival. Representatives from the foodbank were very appreciative of the items they collected from the school. Glastonbury Foodbank is looking for volunteers to help with local deliveries. If you can spare 2 hours per week and you are physically able to carry a couple of bags, or have your own transport to make deliveries, the food bank would love to hear from you. The charity can be contacted on 07980 458600 or at glastonburyfoodbank@gmail.com. Further details can be found on the volunteering page at: https://together.ourchurchweb.org.uk/glastonbury/features/helpout/ Also, if anyone has any ‘bags for life’ that they could donate please drop them in to the school office so that we may pass them on to the foodbank. Team News  Well done to the cross country team for completing the 2nd match of the season at Collett Park in Shepton Mallet yesterday. Thank you also to Mrs Anderson who organised the team entry and to Mrs Lawford for transporting them.  This afternoon we have 8 Year 6 children attending a Primary Maths Festival at The Cathedral School in Wells. We look forward to reading their report next week.
