Advisers are available for you to find out about: Accommodation On and off campus options, how to apply. Our vision is to be an essential part of Edge Hill University significantly adding value to your student experience. Talk to the team in The Hub to find out more. The Record Label The Label Recordings is the UK’s only not-for-profit university record label, which has been set up by the University to promote existing new music and to give students eyeing-up a career in the competitive industry some real hands-on experience. You can direct a music video, you can work in A&R, you can package a sleeve, you can organise a club night, book the band and promote it. It’s a way to become an insider and get a flavour of what all the people behind the scenes really do. The Arts Centre What’s on, student productions, discounts for students. The Arts Centre and the bar/bistro is open to all students and has a mixed programme of events including theatre, comedy, film and open mic. Edge Hill Sport Edge Hill Sport operate all the campus sports facilities and student sport programmes with a range of ways for you to get involved. Edge Hill University Open Day Programme
Get help during the day
Information Points Each building in use during the Open Day will have an Information Point, with friendly members of staff who can help with your programme, direct you around campus and help in the event of an emergency.
Student Guides Student Guides are easily spotted in their bright purple tabards and are happy to help with anything to make your Open Day visit run smoothly. Don’t forget to ask them about their Edge Hill experience.
Housekeeping and Emergency Procedures Fire Alarms On hearing the fire alarm leave the building by the nearest available exit and assemble as directed by staff and Student Guides. Do not return to the building until advised it is safe to do so.
Illness or Injury In case of illness or injury please go to the nearest Information Point or the Registration area. Staff will be able to arrange first aid assistance and will call for an ambulance if required. Please report any injuries to staff at Information Points or in the Registration area.
Lost Property If you lose an item of your belongings or find some lost property please speak to a member of staff at an Information Point who will help you in the first instance.
Toilets Toilets (including accessible facilities) are available in each building on campus. Please ask any member of staff or Student Guide for directions.
Baby Changing Facilities Available on the Ground Floor of the Business School and in the Main Building.
