Where to Get Help
#LancsUCAS #UCASConventions
We have over 130 universities, colleges, employers and other institutions at today’s event, as well as a programme of short seminars, so it’s important that you plan your visit to make sure you get the most out of it! There are plenty of members of the Events Team and Student Guides to help you find your way around. Talk to exhibitors You can find out from the floor plans on pages 4-7 where the exhibitors are who you want to speak to. Make sure you ask them plenty of questions and collect any information you need. When you get home after the event you will then be able to look through everything you have been given and begin to narrow down your choices and plan which Open Days to start visiting.
Attend a seminar There is a series of short seminars running throughout the day. You will find the timetable and a description of what is covered in each session on pages 8-9, and a map so you can find your way to the right building on page 10. The seminars are only 20 minutes long, so you should be able to fit them in around speaking to exhibitors. Make sure that you arrive on time, and please note that admittance to the seminars is on a first come, first served basis. Chill Out! You’ll have quite a lot to fit in during your short visit, but there will be catering outlets available and a seating area upstairs in the main convention space (The Hub). We hope that you have an enjoyable visit!
