The need for social work in today’s society is more crucial than ever and Edge Hill University feels it is important to provide opportunities for everyone to hear, and be involved in, debates about social work and society that affect all of us all on some level.

This public lecture series is an opportunity to hear some of the professions’ leading thinkers and writers discuss contemporary, and often contested, areas of social work and related activity.
