WHAT’S IMPROVED FOR YOU ON CAMPUS IT AND LEARNING SPACE PROJECT 2012

Over the past two years students have raised many issues with regards to IT provision and work space around the campus. As a result, the Students' Union has been working with the University to bring about the following changes: COMPUTER ACCESS
More computers are now available on campus, thanks to the new additions in The Student Hub, Library, Arts Centre, Sporting Edge and CMIST. If you do struggle for access then make sure you visit www.ehu.ac.uk/computers to ďŹ nd which computers are available on campus. Access to Final Cut Pro X and Adobe Master Collection has also been improved with installations on certain computers in the library and 24/7 access is now available on some workstations in the LINC.

Never run out of battery on campus again!
More plug sockets are now available in The Student Hub, the top oor of the Library and in the Silent Study Area.

CHEAPER PRINTING
Run out of printing credits? Well print for FREE in The Student Hub* Printing elsewhere on campus has also been reduced from 5p - 2p and you can now print wirelessly from your own device via the Go Portal. *Only 20 pages per individual print job.

IMPROVED FACILITIES
Thanks to the higher chairs and additional work space installed around The Student Hub, getting work done is much easier.
More work space is also now available on the top oor in the library and on the new desk added to the 24/7 access suite in the LINC, either study with your own device or through one of the University computers. Two new touchscreens, and an interactive whiteboard have been added to the library group rooms to make group study easier.
If you are struggling on campus then get support from on campus services quicker, using one of the two new phones in The Student Hub.
