M . | H E L E N A C I V I C C E N T E R Internationally renowned Pianist and Van Cliburn Gold Medalist Jon Nakamatsu makes his HSO debut with the best-known concerto of all time – Tchaikovsky’s irresistible and virtuosic Piano Concerto No. 1. The concert also features Debussy’s reflective and colorful Printemps (Spring), and Four Sea Interludes from Benjamin Britten’s psychological thriller Peter Grimes.

Program To Be Announced Nearly 2,000 fourth and fifth graders from all over the region are invited through their school music programs to attend a concert created just for them. Celebrated and award-winning and Tony-nominated Broadway stars Christiane Noll and Doug LaBrecque perform some of Broadway’s greatest hits, including highlights from The Phantom of the Opera, Les Misérables, Wicked, West Side Story, Show Boat, Cabaret, Chicago, Hairspray, Mamma Mia, and American in Paris. The evening culminates with one of the best fireworks shows in Montana. Last season over 16,000 people attended this wonderful tradition, so pack your blankets and picnics.
