Kim was raised on the outskirts of Independence in an area most call “Sweetwater”. She’s a 2003 graduate of Loranger High where she played softball and was a two-time national ranked cheerleader. Kim was the 2004 Tangipahoa Farm Bureau Queen and then served as Tangipahoa Parish Fair Queen in 2005. She’s a graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University (’06) and has been married to Hunt Ragusa for 18 years. They have 2 daughters, Charlee Grace (15) and Colbee Faith (10) as well as a Cockapoo puppy named River. Kim is the proud Godmother to Brianna, Sidney, Parker and Taysen and an active member of Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church. She’s the Project Administrator and Manager of her family-owned commercial construction company, Brunt Construction, Inc..
