Daniel Nesquens is a multi-awarded author of children’s books. He has published more than eighty titles, and four of them have been included in the White Raven List. His books are full of humour and have been transalted into many languages, such as Korean, Italian, French, Dutch and English. Oyemathias graduated from Integral Design and has a Diploma in Illustration. He has been a freelance artist ever since and has worked for multiple clients. He has published three books, including There Is No Planet B (Penguin Random House) and I, Citizen, winner of the Image of the Book Award (Russia) in 2020. His work has also been exhibited in galleries and magazines. In 2020, he won the Non-Fiction Image of the Book Prize, awarded by the Moscow Graphic Artists Association.
