SUMMON YOUR TRIBE X
It is no coincidence that this book has reached you.
You hold in your hands the brave wisdom that witches have treasured since ancient times. Receive the magic responsibly and be prepared to discover the secrets of the universe.
The call has already been heard: the tribe of young witches has been summoned.
Are you ready?
a real witch
For many, many years, witches were persecuted, and their books of magic were banned.
In those days, fantastic stories were told about evil witches flying on broomsticks. However, being a witch in real life has nothing to do with all those old myths.
They fly on broomsticks.
THE TRUTH AND THE MYTH
They are always cackling. Hahahaha, huhuhu, hehehe, hihihihi, hohohoho, hehehe!
They have evil cats.
The
myth
They are ugly and have a horrifying nose with a wart on the tip.
They like to gather plants and collect stones.
They are fascinated by old things, candles and the smell of incense. They feel the power of the moon, are fascinated by the night and love to look at the stars.
They are connected to intuition and to the powers of nature.
They have a crystal ball to see the future.
They are curious, studious, wise and creative.
They pay attention to synchronicities and signals from the universe.
They are always dressed in black and wear pointed hats.

A YOUNG WITCH

There are small details, however, that make them different and transform their lives into a great adventure where almost anything is possible.
DANCE
Sometimes they dance without music.

They like to smell their books.

A YOUNG WITCH’S ROOM
A young witch’s room is a magical space. A safe and meaningful place where she spends most of her time and meets other witches.
OBJECTS OF PROTECTION AND INVOCATION
Every corner, shelf and drawer hold fantastic magical objects: amulets, dreamcatchers, bags of spells……
SIGN ON THE DOOR
The door to the bedroom usually has some symbol announcing that a witch sleeps there.
ALTAR
All witches have a magical corner in the room where they place their favourite objects of power: an oracle, tarot cards, a pendulum, magical stones, flowers, postcards, treasures they have found…
IMAGES AND DECORATIONS
For witches, the meaning of the things and decorations that surround them is very important: posters, pictures, pendants, relics…
The images in the room always mean something to the owner.
WITCHY CLOSET
A young witch’s wardrobe is varied, fun and colourful.
There are no rules, witches dress however they like: long dresses for ceremonies, slogan t-shirts, jackets with badges or symbols, striped tights, pointed boots, their grandma’s old jewellery…
GOODBYE RITUAL
CREATE A MEMORY BOX
In a box put photographs and cherished objects belonging to the loved one you are saying goodbye to.
Keep it and return back to it whenever you need to.
It will help you feel close to that person and give you a way to talk to them.
MAKE A MEMORY ALBUM
Fill it with photos, letters, messages or drawings. OPEN UP
Share your feelings with family and friends.
Witchy advice
You can decorate the box with paint, stones, leaves, flowers…
WRITE A LETTER

Become aware that it’s part of the cycle of life and it’s nothing bad, even if it hurts.
SUMMON YOUR TRIBE
It’s time to celebrate magic, share our powers and gather with other witches in exciting covens. Send an invitation to your group of witches. All the witches must bring their objects of power, magical treats and potions to the ceremony to share with everyone.
FULL MOON NIGHT IN NATURE

“To
create more magic, tart believing you are magical.”
ROALD DAHL (1916-1990)
SOLEDAD ROMERO
I was born on Christmas 77. “It's a girl!” my father shouted to my grandmothers waiting in the hospital ward. The full moon shone brightly that Christmas night, perhaps that is why I have always felt so connected to it. I grew up backstage at the theatre with my little sister; my father was an actor, and my mother a dancer.
Fantasy, books and family conversations over cinnamon biscuits shaped our personalities. We always lived in the forest, surrounded by trees and accompanied by dogs and cats that came in from the street. And yes, of course, I believe in magic. I have always felt it!
Now I am happy to write and create books with artists I admire. My mission is to create books that make us curious about the world around us and about our inner selves, the place we tend to forget and where our happiness lives.
I don't know exactly where I come from, but I do know that I was born in the same year that man landed on the moon. Perhaps that is why I have travelled a lot since I was a child, like my grandfather Juan, who sailed the waters of the Straits of Gibraltar.
Both my grandmothers were called Maria. I never knew one of them. The other taught me how to cross the road: “Look to one side, to the other, up and down.”
Since I was a child, I have been fascinated by planets, art and mythology. I worked in hotels and airports until one day I decided to find my own yellow brick road. If someone had told me that when I grew up I'd be living in a house surrounded by trees by the sea and spending my time illustrating and inventing books, I wouldn't have believed it. As the Little Prince said: “If you walk in a straight line, you won't get very far.”
Have you ever dreamed of becoming a young witch?
For many years, witches were persecuted, and their magic books were forbidden. In those times, fantastic stories were invented about evil witches with black cats who fl ew on broomsticks. But there’s so much more to being a witch than all those old myths!
Get ready to learn the wonderful truth about witches and receive the wisdom they have treasured since ancient time.
