La intel·ligència artificial s’ha convertit en el gran eix vertebrador de les innovacions tecnològiques que es presenten al Mobile World Congress de Barcelona. Any rere any, aquest esdeveniment reuneix experts, empreses líders i visionaris per explorar com aquesta tecnologia transforma indústries i redefineix l’experiència digital. Amb més de 101.000 assistents procedents de 205 països i 1.100 ponents, la fira va esdevenir un espai de debat essencial sobre el futur de la tecnologia.
Artificial intelligence has become the central pillar of technological innovations showcased at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Year after year, this event brings together experts, leading companies, and visionaries to explore how this technology is transforming industries and redefining the digital experience. With over 101,000 attendees from 205 countries and 1,100 speakers, the congress has established itself as a key forum for discussions on the future of technology.

L’edició passada del 2024 ja va destacar per la seva aposta per la “humanització de la IA”, una temàtica que va posar sobre la taula no només avenços tècnics, sinó també les implicacions socials i ètiques de l’adopció de sistemes d’intel·ligència artificial. Grans noms com Google DeepMind i Microsoft van presentar aplicacions revolucionàries que prometen transformar sectors com la salut, l’educació i la sostenibilitat ambiental. a inversió col·lectiva de més de 50.000 milions d’euros i la presentació de més de 250 startups amb solucions innovadores van evidenciar l’impacte creixent d’aquesta tecnologia en l’economia digital.
L’esdeveniment també va comptar amb la presència de 930 expositors i 450 ponents, que van compartir la seva visió sobre les transformacions que està experimentant el sector. A més, la fira va generar més de 35 milions d’impressions a les xarxes socials, reforçant la seva influència com a epicentre de la innovació tecnològica.
Aquest 2025, el Mobile World Congress es prepara per portar la IA a un nivell encara més alt, amb un enfocament especial en la integració de models generatius i l’expansió del seu impacte a escala global. La capacitat de la IA per revolucionar processos, des de la manufactura fins al diagnòstic mèdic, i millorar l’accessibilitat a la tecnologia, situa Barcelona com un punt neuràlgic del debat tecnològic internacional
The 2024 edition already stood out for its focus on the “humanization of AI,” a theme that not only highlighted technical advances but also addressed the social and ethical implications of adopting artificial intelligence systems. Major players such as Google DeepMind and Microsoft presented groundbreaking applications promising to revolutionize sectors such as healthcare, education, and environmental sustainability. A collective investment exceeding 50 billion euros and the introduction of over 250 startups with innovative solutions underscored the growing impact of this technology on the digital economy.
The event also featured 930 exhibitors and 450 speakers who shared their insights into the ongoing transformations within the industry. Additionally, the congress generated over 35 million impressions on social media, reinforcing its influence as a global hub for technological innovation.
In 2025, the Mobile World Congress is set to take AI to an even higher level, with a special focus on the integration of generative models and the expansion of its impact on a global scale. AI’s ability to revolutionize processes— from manufacturing to medical diagnostics—and enhance accessibility to technology positions Barcelona as a key focal point for international technological debate.
