Foxy Lady will be one of the top January heifer calves offered this season. Put in motion she’s flexible at the ground and extremely fluid off both ends. Yet she is very wide sprung when viewed from behind. Her dam was a $40,000 female in the 2011 HCC sale and has proven an excellent investment as confirmed by her first calf here. The Pilgrim bull is doing a tremendous job and the outstanding daughters in this sale will attest to his prowess as a sire.

Her dam is a broody, capacious female that has passed these traits on to her daughter. Don’t overlook this stout, easy fleshling Broker daughter - she’s donor quality!

Firefly is one of those eye-catching young females with that extra appeal backed by good numbers. She’s extremely soft and mobile with natural dimension combined with added length of side and hip. This fancy Pilgrim daughter has been one of the favorites in the pasture. Her dam is to be remembered as the good Bill Fulton, Steel Force daughter that sold for $33,000 in the 2011 HCC Sale. Proving again what great investments have been made in this event.

Here’s an awesome prospect from Early Sunset Ranch with a great future in the show ring and donor pen. She’s one of those attractive, loose structured females with tremendous length and natural shape. I told Jim and Peggy Grant this is one of the best Voltage daughters born to date. The Bruhn consignments have been at the front of this event year after year. He has consigned the Grand female and Reserve Grand female at the National Western in Denver two different years. He has bred two tremendous females this year in lots 20 and 23. The mass and substance she exhibits while still being sharp necked and flat shouldered is a tribute to Bruhn’s breeding program. If you want to be competitive or produce outstanding 3/4’s get on board here.

She is wide sprung with added depth but is still sharp made through her neck and shoulders. Note the size and shape of her foot which is an issue in the cattle business today. I told Doug Steele if you could have 100 half sisters like lots 21 and 22 you could have tremendous diversity in your breeding program. These Driver daughters will add soundness and fleshing ability to your program.
It has been a pleasure working with Steele this last two years. He had a great set of bred heifers last year and again this year. He has also produced some tremendous females out of his donor program. Full sister, Lots 21 and 22 are identical in type and performance. This easy fleshing female is wide based and mobile. There is no doubt Driver has sired some awesome halfblood females and lots 21and 22 add to the list of future breed champions. Lot 24 is a maternal sister.
