This nice mare we call Flicka, is a very special girl. She loves kids and adults of all ages. She has a wonderful temperament and gives you exactly what you want when ridden. She has taught several kids to ride all the way up to putting a full day’s work doing ranching duties like pulling calves to a fire during brandings, ranch rodeos, and doctoring calves. She has seen and been around other cattle breeds not usually found here and works them just like she should. You could put her in a pasture for months, go out to get her and she would ride like she did when you turned her out. Doesn’t spook even if she has a rope or barbwire around her legs. She has been pastured and around other horses and has no problem being with them. She is current on vaccinations and deworming. Will have current coggins and health papers by sale date. RESIST RESISTANCE Eddie Parker had a question: why were his cattle riddled with worms — even though he’d just used an endectocide-based dewormer? Resistance.
“If a cow doesn’t have the ability to be parasite free, she’s never going to be as efficient as she’s genetically bred to be,” says Parker, who raises registered Angus cattle in Oklahoma. So he brought his cattle back in, but this time he used Safe-Guard.®
“They bounced back like you’d just put them on feed,” he says. “Switching to Safe-Guard is one of the best things we ever did.” Contact Merck to conduct two fecal tests of your cow herd – the first when Safe-Guard is applied. The second, 14 days later. Expect a 90% reduction in parasites, or the product is free.
